Went to see the doctor about pains I was getting in my shoulders and he told me to take pain killers. No investigation or questions asked. And when you call the surgery , you will be lucky if anybody answers the phone. Customer service is abysmal.

Thank you for your feedback regarding reception .We are monitoring our calls to make sure that all calls in reception are answered in timely manner. I will take your feedback to the Reception Supervisor and we will discuss this in next reception meeting so we can improve the service offered to our users. 5 weeks for an appointment. The automated telephone options just take you around in circles. When you phone during opening hours they don’t answer. I have phoned from inside the waiting room and listened to my call being ignored while staff drink tea and chat. The NHS app to book appointments with never has any. They don’t reply to emails. I will be moving away from this surgery. While I appreciate they’re probably very busy not dealing with patients who are unwell isn’t the answer. So very very poor.

Dear Patient I apologise that your experience at the practice was not up to the mark. Practice has appointments available to pre-book 2 weeks in advance, however, if a particular Dr is bring requested we cannot always adhere to this time scale. We have emergency appointments available every day that can be booked via automated service after 6:30 pm or on the day from 8 am. Practice has a telephone call monitoring service, and incoming calls data is monitored weekly. On average 90-95% calls are answered by the practice staff however we are trying to improve this data to make sure that 100% of the calls are answered in timely manner. Once again, I apologise that you had the reason to complain and I am happy for you to come and see me in person to resolve any further complaints that you might have. Spent over an hour for someone to pick up. When they finally did, they hung up. So called again and waited another 45mins before someone picked up. Was told that you can't book appointments in the afternoon and nothing was available in January. So I asked for an appointment in February, but their system doesn't apparently allow you to book appointments in February. Told them I got a message from them to book a blood test, was told they can't even do that (then why message me??). She then hung up the phone on me. This place is absolutely appalling and useless. This isn't my first poor experience with them and having spoken to a number of other residents who have "tried" to use their service - they've all said the same. I don't understand how they're still running as the place is absolutely terrible! If you can *never* get an appointment, it's pointless having this GP.
