Asked the surgery if it was possible to have a home visit for my sick disabled husband. Almost immediately we had a visit from a doctor who was thorough and very efficient exploring every possible cause and reason for my husband’s symptoms. Samples were taken and a plan of action discussed. As promised an hour later a follow up phone call was made with results from one of the tests and informed that further investigation had been put in action. We were so impressed with the care and support provided by this doctor and would like to thank them for their compassion, kindness and professionalism.

I was contacted via the admin staff this morning, she was very sensitive and talked through my options calmly. She found me a appointment and explained waiting times. I saw a student nurse ( from Huddersfield University) The student was calmly, talked me through what was going ro happen. She was gentle and check I was okay. Afterwards she clearky explained how I would my results and was polite and friendly. All this and I was in and out within 5 minutes. A very professional and competent student nurse.

I have always experienced a very professional service from the medical secretaries at Chapelthorpe practice. In particular, recently, one of the secretaries was very efficient in dealing with my query. The secretary provided me with all the information that I had requested in a timely manner which enabled a quick resolution to my request. It was a most pleasant patient experience, and I would like to offer my thanks and appreciation for a professional, pleasant service.

Over the last week I've had a really positive experience with one particular Dr who listened and did his job well. I'm no better but it's just that he cared enough to make a difference to how I felt. I wish they were all like him

I use Ask my GP whenever I need to contact the practice. Always find it easy and get a quick response. My only criticism of the system is the time limit which can be restricting for people who work. Staff are always friendly and helpful wherever they can. Been registered here for approximately 5 years. Recently had an illness that meant I could attend a f2f appointment, was astounded when the gp offered and made a home visit, almost unheard of these days.

The communication and service with Chapelthorpe Medical Centre is excellent. Especially the processing of my prescriptions - swiftly and hassle free, and the prescription has been filled completely every time. Staff polite, centre clean, appointments available with little delays, and can accommodate patient requests.

I have had a few medical issues recently and the staff at Chaplethorpe surgery have been amazing in sorting things out. As a result I am much better after having received the treatment and referrals I needed. They are always helpful and polite when I ring or visit and I cannot thank them enough.

I am writing this on behalf of my elderly aunt and uncle who have been in and out of hospital over the past 12 months. I am so impressed with the responsive way in which all the staff have dealt with any enquiry I (as nominated relative) have made. There has never been any question about offering home visits whenever they need them and they both welcome the speedy and thorough medical examinations they have been given. They are both very appreciative of the manner and respect in which they are treated. Whenever I have been involved with reception, everyone I have dealt with has been extremely friendly and helpful and colleagues have called me back when they said they would. I must say that I have felt the need to give this review, as the service I (and my husband) receive from our GPs' practice is a very different affair. Urgent appointments can only be made for the following week and then only by phone - the total opposite of that received by my aunt and uncle at Chapelthorpe Medical Practice. Thank you all concerned.

A large and busy practice but which is very well organised and responsive. Probably a challenge every day but marvellous work. Congratulations to all concerned especially support staff!

Used Askmygp at 0830 with ongoing cough, I'm 71. Had phone call at 0930 asking me to attend the surgery that afternoon. I was seen at my appointment time. The Doctor asked me lots of questions, did many checks. Very comprehensive and a lovely manner. Collected antibiotics from pharmacy next door. Very impressed and grateful.
