    Booked for shingles vaccination at 0800 and was seen by the nurse at exactly 0800. Because of existing conditions she said safer to check with the doctor first and got the all clear to go ahead. This made both of us feel better!

    I was asked by the hospital to book an appointment with the doctor at chatfield to discuss the findings of my thh diagnostic results for my illness & treatment. The doctor was very helpful in explaining my medical issues & further treatments accordingly. All went well, so thank you all concerned.

    After four months of intermittent - but sometimes quite serious - back pain and several weeks of ineffective osteopathy, my osteopath suggested I ask for an X-ray as she felt she was not making much progress. I had a telephone appointment scheduled for the week before last and my request found a sympathetic ear. The X-ray last Tuesday was straightforward, the results came through very quickly on Thursday, I received a text from the surgery informing me that I had a wedge compression fracture of the mid-thoracic spine and asking me to call immediately, which I did - and saw a doctor a couple of hours later, who put in a request for a scan. Action at last. I hope the scan and some treatment, including physio, will not be long delayed. But should the doctor I saw in May not have considered the possibility of a fracture and ordered an X-ray then? Only asking.

    I have had great support over the years with the passing of the Covid-19 restrictions these are back on track. I have type 2 diabetes and I am monitored and participate in all surveys and examinations which are comprehensive and valuable. The support is appreciated and useful. I am always happy in my interactions with Chatfield.

    The receptionist went out of her way to get a doctor to sort out a prescription which was unavailable before we went on holiday and thankfully I got it on time!

    I always feel so looked after at Chatfield Medical, particularly when I need it the most. The reception staff were so helpful and kind, making sure I got the care I needed as soon as possible and the GP got my prescription to the pharmacy within minutes.
