    Over the years I have had very good service . However since The Pandemic, appointments for a face to face with a doctor are nigh on impossible as I'm sure you are aware. It is as usual, difficult to telephone through . When I do see a doctor they are usually spot on.

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re disappointed with the service offered by the practice. Where possible, we offer all patients the choice of a face to face or phone appointment and have done for around 6 months now. This might not be possible on days where there are fewer appointments remaining, but we try to do it where possible. I’m glad to hear that when you’ve gotten an appointment the clinician has been able to help. Thanks for taking the time to leave this review!

    First morning so a little chaotic but settled and sorted smallish reception area anyway. However very quick to deal with the actual vaccination and all staff calm and pleasant

    Not a good experience had to queue up outside first then inside as well and when you have a bad back that does not help. Managed to get a seat but it was chaos. Far to many people in a small space. The check in machine did not work all the time. Eventually got my jabs but was much later than my appointment time. All in all not a good experience.

    Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and I’m sorry to hear you’ve not had a great experience. We’re taking on board feedback about the overcrowding of the reception area and asking patients to arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before their appointment time. A number of patients turned up over 20 minutes early, and the check-in screen will only let you check-in 20 minutes before your appointment time, which contributed to the issue. I’m sorry that you were delayed on this occasion and the feedback has been passed on.

    I really wonder whether this medical practice is capable of organising anything efficiently. Apart from the usual inability to get a doctor’s appointment (in fact it is a very rare sight indeed to spot a doctor on the premises) the flu vaccination clinic was total chaos. The reception area was rammed with people and there were queues out of the door onto the street outside. It was so full that people were struggling to get inside to sign in and then having to join the queue outside again. There must be a better way.

While our doctors may not be passing through the reception area, I can assure you that they absolutely are here behind the scenes, seeing patients and offering the best care they can. Like most practices in the country, we would absolutely love to have more of them!

    Attended for my jabs to Cheadle Medical. Easy on-line booking system - waited 10 mins, big queue but this moved very quickly.

    I always find the staff at Cheadle Medical Practice friendly and helpful. The reception staff are sometimes difficult to get through to, but always phone me when I select the call back option. The staff are always prepared to do all they can, to help put me in touch with the correct GP, when they can, & as soon as they can. I recently attended clinic for my Flu & Covid Booster vaccines. There was a very short wait, but, again, the nurse was friendly & I am was leaving the Surgery perhaps 5 minutes after my appointment time.

    Getting a GP appointment for non urgent consultation remains a problem. I am waiting 3 weeks for a telephone consultation. Also consultation with different doctors not ideal. Once you get to a doctor the service is good and appreciated. The vaccination episode yesterday could not be faulted. I understand the issues I raised are not unique to our practice but universal.

    Hi Hany, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. As you’ve said, these are the challenges facing most practices up and down the UK. We’re doing what we can to recruit additional clinical support in order to offer more appointments, and if you need a routine appointment we recommend you use the online query on our website if you are able to do so, you may also specify a preferred doctor on this (though we aren’t able to guarantee this can be met, we will try)!

    I was extremely grateful for getting an appointment on a day when I was feeling very ill. The Dr was patient, helpful and I appreciated the Dr's attention - I felt I was being listened to as the Dr looked at me as I spoke and not the computer screen. As I felt so poorly I was greatly reassured that I would be given help in getting better as the Dr booked a follow up appointment during my consultation. This made me feel more positive about how poorly I felt as I left knowing I had an appointment to further explore my health.
