My wife had a nasty accident when abroad resulting in 3broken bones in her ankle. She had an operation while abroad. She was allowed to travel back to the uk and advised to contact her GP immediately as a further operation was needed within 2 weeks. This was all conveyed to Chelsfield Surgery and all paperwork delivered. We were told it was being processed. We have contacted the surgery daily and always been told someone will contact us. Five days later and we are still waiting. My wife is in a great deal of pain and we have relayed this to them, however nothing has been done. She needs to have a referral to an orthopaedic surgeon but requires the doctor to do this

I've been a patient to this practice for many years. I am very grateful for the service my late husband and myself received from Chelsfield Surgery. Doctors have been very efficient and nurses and technical staff have always been polite and helpful.

Can’t ever get through to book any appointment you are left holding on for half hour or longer if I was really ever sick it would be impossible to get an appointment, someone just recognise you have people struggling to get help, lucky I live with in walking distance I have to go down to get anything sorted, for the elderly it must be awful. What is going on

We requested a referral letter fir haematology; it was promised within a week; it was produced the same day. Thanks to reception staff and the busy GP who did the letter.

Great experience with reception really went out of their way to help me with regards to repeat medications following an injury. Couldn’t fault the reception staff. Always polite and helpful.

Monday I requested a repeat prescription which was completed by wednesday but I also wanted an extra item, which I've had before over my 34yrs with this surgery. When my sister collected the items my extra was missing. So I rang surgery and I was told it would be sorted on an emergency prescription. Well at 1700 sister was told it hadn't arrived and when she went to surgery to find out why, was told it was refused. Great now I'm stuck indoors with alot of pain.Phoned again and was told to phone in morning leaving me with a sleepless night. This surgery over the years has gone from an exceptional one, where you could see same doctor and get an appointment within a day or two, to extremely bad where it's hard to get anything sorted. If you are looking for a good local surgery this isn't the one. And when you fill a survey in which I have done a couple of times nothing seems to change

Not really sure why this surgery exists as every time you ask for an appointment, they will give you a month out. This seems to be the standard practice with them. Having said that they have appointments which can be taken for the same day by calling in the morning. This clearly points to the fact that they have slots but don't want to give out. It defeats the whole purpose of primary care. I have highlighted this number of times but to no avail. It would be better to close this practice and open more walk-in centres are that is what it is, no better. Never been able to see a regular GP. Not sure who regulates these surgeries as this one is completely useless

Calling in morning to book an appointment is next to impossible. They have no appointments available. Even after calling 111 booked an slot from 10-12 and visiting surgery multiple times for ecg and chest pain appointment, then also I wasn’t seen through. No call back by doctor, receptionist not helpful.
