Review titled Disappointed & frustrated with wasting GP time
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 28 October 2024
Receiving physio for knee problem which is not reducing the problem. Advised to call Dr surgery & request walk in x-ray appt @ St Marks. Spoke with Claremont Reception who advised I have to have GP appt - it’s going to be a call with GP in 3 weeks time! I just feel it’s a waste of GP time and somebody could really need this appt only form the GP to confirm my walk in X-ray appt. Very frustrating as I reallly don’t want to waste their time as so busy but this apparently is the only way to obtain permission for walk in appt.

Nurse we visited was extremely friendly, kind & made us feel very comfortable as first time parents having vaccinations for our baby.

Blood test today & I always have a bit of ‘white coat syndrome’. The nurse was lovely, thank you a lot.

We found all doctors and receptionists really helpful. Every time we had a problem, they were there to assist you and were able to handle even the most delicate subjects. Highly recommend!

I saw the Nurse Practitioner today and she was, as usual, very efficient and extremely helpful with finding a consultant for my needs. She always has time to listen to problems. She is very knowledgeable and an important member of the team.

Review titled Experience for blood tests 18 July
Rated 5 stars out of 5

On the whole good experience. The practice nurse I saw was lovely and put me at ease straight away. Came for fasting blood tests and was asked if I had bought a urine sample with me. I hadn't as the gp I saw at St Mark's did not advise me of this and as I had already passed water was unable to give sample while there. Took away sample kit and it wasn't until after I had left surgery that I questioned whether to do it after having eaten or leave it until next morning so that it would be the first water passed, more in line with the fasting blood test. Have taken the decision to do it as the first wee of the day and bring down to surgery for the 19th of July. She may have said but I don't recall if she did or not. I did also ask her for a 2nd form for week 2 of blood pressure readings. again as per the gp at St Mark's, but as it had not come through by the time I got home at 11:45 called surgery and the receptionist sent it through for me. On the whole it was a good experience and the receptionist I spoke with was very helpful and I got the online form through immediately I had finished talking to her.

Review titled Excellent Practice Nurses
Rated 5 stars out of 5

As always, the practice nurses at Claremont Surgery are 1st class. Today I was treated as a patient/human being, not as the next job to be processed, with my wellbeing as the full concern.

Review titled Brilliant doctors and nurses
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Basharat Nazir - Posted on 17 July 2024
In July 2024 I attended a nurse in person for blood sample and another nurse who called by phone to review my results. Both most professional and happily taking time to explain everything and guide as required. The appointment came via a text message, as my tests were becoming due, automatically instead of needing to remember and call the surgery. I feel very happy and fortunate to belong to Claremont Surgery. Good job all of you, hope you guys able to continue what you are doing. Bravo 👏👏👏
