Efficient and professional. Arranging an appropriate appointment is easy if you approach it correctly. My recent appointments have been necessary but not urgent and I have been able to see the GP I chose within the timescale I needed to.

I have been at College Green medical practice for two months now, and I have been very happy with my experience so far. Every doctor and nurse I have seen have been really friendly. Receptionists have been friendly and helpful too. And they actually answer the phone! My previous GP surgery were unhelpful and did not answer the phones, so I wish I had moved to college green sooner! I really hope it continues to stay professional and keep its good reputation :)

I saw the GP yesterday and was very impressed with the assessment and explanation the GP provided. She spent the time to complete a very thorough review and offered the opportunity to ask any questions. I will definitely try to see this GP again.

I came in for acne treatment. I consistently suffer from cystic acne and acne scarring which leaves me feeling insecure. I asked about medicine such as tretinoin and adapalene, as this was recommended from a GP friend of mine. He took one look at my face, made a judgmental expression, and rolled his eyes. He said tretinoin is for severe acne, you have ‘mild’ acne. He prescribed me adapalene but I felt judged and not listened to based on his manner. I’m a health professional and I would never use a judgmental facial expression when I’m speaking with clients, regardless of what they say to me. I normally have really fantastic things to say about College Green and I think your GP’s are normally a lot more understanding and personable. In the future, I will just ask to not see this particular GP.

I want you to know that we take all patient feedback very seriously and any issues are discussed as part of the weekly meetings. You have the absolute right to request a doctor of your choice. May I suggest you have a look at our website and under the section “Meet the Team” https://cgmp.digipractice.org/meet-the-team/ you will find a list of our Doctors and what their special interests are. College Green Medical Practice never fail to impress me with the service they offer. As a practice they are reactive, responsive, kind, considerate and leave me feeling well cared for. A huge thank you to all the staff, from a very grateful patient.

The doctor prescribed antibiotics for my infection and they went straight to the pharmacy. I had a query regarding short term medication stop dates but this was explained to me by the pharmacist.

The nurse made me feel stupid and like an idiot. Not polite and didn't listen. I asked several questions that she didn't answer or changed the subject. I felt her to be quite aggressive in her manner. I am a helth care person and would not treat my patients like that, bad day or not

I attended for my annual review. Checked in & was directed to waiting area by cheerful receptionist. Called in on time by a nurse who instantly put me at my ease. Procedures conducted efficiently but with no sense of rush. The atmosphere at the surgery was relaxed, friendly & efficient. Well done!
