Review titled Incredible Practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by A E Burness - Posted on 11 July 2024
Needed to go back again to see a doctor because my problem had not resolved fully and I needed more help. I got through to the surgery within 4 minutes and a lovely receptionist gave me an appointment for a female doctor. Doctor rang me promptly, decided that she wanted to see me and gave me a time to go. Lovely doctor, very kind and reassuring. She examined me and talked to me about treatment options. She also prescribed medication that will hopefully reduce the risk of further problems. I am so grateful to all of the lovely doctors and staff at the surgery, they are all really wonderful. I do worry about things and all of the doctors I have seen have always been very patient, listened to me and done their best to reassure me.

Review titled Wonderful Practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Ann Burness - Posted on 17 June 2024
I saw a doctor in this practice a fortnight ago about breast and underarm pain. GP I saw was lovely, she gave me a thorough examination and then made contact with the Breast Clinic for advice/referral. I then spoke to a different doctor this morning because the underarm pain had not improved, I asked if he could see me to check this again, he was very happy to do this. He was very kind and patient and put my mind at rest. I was also able to discuss a problem with my back, doctor wanted to do a few blood tests, and arranged referral to a physiotherapist. Fantastic GP surgery, I feel very cared for by the doctors I have seen and the whole team, could not wish for better. You are all very much appreciated, I am so grateful to you all, you are wonderful.

Review titled Lied to constantly
Rated 1 star out of 5

I was told in April by the receptionist that my referral I put through for would be a 3 month waiting list. 2 months have gone by with now the receptionist is saying 12 months... How does it go from 3 months to 12 months? It's making me question if the referral was even done. The receptionist claims she contacted the secretary and it has been done but no details on where I was referred to... How can you refer me to something but have no information. It just seems to me they're lying.

On April 25th this year I saw the nurse practitioner who diagnosed my rash as rosacea, she called in the dr to verify and he also confirmed. Then prescribed a gel which has worked amazingly. I appreciate both dr and nurse practitioner for their diagnosis and support. Thank you!

Review titled Thank you for your kindness
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Thank you to the lovely reception staff who spoke to me about a recent medical issue that required a Drs visit. I am 89 years old and couldn’t come to the surgery. The female Dr came out to see me and treated me with such kindness and reassurance. She arranged a fast referral to the hospital and made the whole experience so much less stressful than it could have been. Thank you.

Review titled Not informed

I have been having neurological issues for over 2 years aswell as stomach issues. I was diagnosed with cd a little over a year and a half ago so have to completely avoid gluten. I've been trying to get my neurological issues to get addressed for years but met with such resistance. told by gp it's anxiety for years even though gluten ataxia and gluten neuropathy are linked to cd. My question is how much research does this surgery put into getting information? Because it seems outdated. Being gf hasn't repaired the nerve damage and impacts my everyday life. I was told for probably the 8th time that the neurological issues are down to anxiety. Either they think I'm lying or do really believe it's anxiety. Late last year I asked to be referred to a neurologist but I come to find out that the referral is for ent which doesn't make any sense whatsoever. I believe that I have gluten ataxia and neuropathy but I've been put in for a ent? It's frustrating using this surgery because they misinformed and just don't do things right.
