Everytime I book an appointment or blood test they always get cancelled which isn't on especially when it's cancelled on the day I'm meant to attend the surgery

We are sorry that you have had several cancellations, we will only ever cancel if we cannot reappoint and often this is due to short notice sickness, where we do not have any other cover available.

Very lovely nurse made me feel at ease as I was very nervous having a ECG but all went well also had my flu jab at the same time

Nurse was open, friendly and professional asked awkward questions intelligently and with compassion fully explained why review was necessary I felt comfortable and well informed

I didn’t have to wait and the doctor and nurse were very nice. Good explanation as things progressed, made sure I was comfortable throughout.

I was seen very quickly following the triage system which seems to work very well. The doctor was efficient and explained actions but did not seem to have empathy with me as a person just treated the illness which I found a bit sad.

I had a telephone appointment with the pharmacy technician about a change in my medication. She was very informative and explained the reason for the change, asking me how I felt and talking me through potential side effects and my current risk factors.

Turned up a little early for my appointment waited about 10 minutes got called in for my injection spoke to the gentleman who gave me the injection so easy and simple brilliant experience thank you

As a type 2 diabetic, I was concerned about a problem between my little toe on my left foot, the skin was showing signs of rubbing against the next toe, This happened previously in 2023 and was concerned that it was happening again. The first time it resulted in a hospital appointment. The nurse looked and decided that I should see a podiatrist, I thought that I would at least have a dressing applied but instead was told to go the a chemist and buy a sponge toe protector. I used this and found it to be hopeless as it would not stay in place. Fortunately my podiatry appointment came on the 27th December 2023 at St Marys hospital. The nurse was very competent and dressed both toes. She also provided a prescription for the necessary medication for me to be able to change the dressings at home. I am still waiting for the prescription to be delivered.

Service at Cosham is good. It is a shame it can’t be like that across the group. Also and this is funny when you think about it. Our GP who we were with for years tells us that he is now retired. Sadly the practice didn’t think to communicate this. So much for family GP care. We would not have known if we had not bumped into him.
