Very happy at the way I have been looked after especially over the last three years.Always been able to speak to someone when needed. They follow things up and let you know the outcome.

Having had issues with high blood pressure I rang the doctors and got and got an appointment ok. Loads of tests done but unfortunately I couldn't make my results appointment so I tried to rearrange this with plenty notice. This is where all the problems started. It is impossible to get an appointment with crawcrook surgery for any time even months in advance. The only way you can get one is if you are lucky to get into the queue quick enough at 8am in the morning for an emergency appointment! I don't want an emergency appointment all I wanted was to see my doctor get my results and go about fixing the issue I have before a have a heart attack. Don't get me wrong the staff are all really nice but the fact you can't make an appointment is inexcusable for a doctor's.

Dear John I am sorry to hear that you could not re-book your appointment. We have on the day appointments as you say for emergencies, and everyday we have routine bookable appointments available both online, at the front desk and by telephoning the practice. Seen same day, both reception and medical staff were very polite and courteous. Phoned lunch time and was given an appointment within a couple of hours.

Staff are very attentive Reception is manned well Receptionist is usually very helpful and attentive

Handy for me and chemist next door with some late and weeknight opening is great. Can be a long wait to have phone answered (and a long recorded message to listen to every time) but can generally get a same day appt if I am on the phone around 8am. I use a pharmacy app because I know there have been issues with communication being slow between surgery and pharmacy next door and queues can be long and slow. Reception staff generally polite although always rushed.

Econsult seems to work really well, always hear back within a couple of hours with either an appointment for that day or prescription if needed

Always able to facilitate an urgent appointment if required. Usually appointments run on time, helpful text reminders for routine appointments.
