Phoned at 1pm which symptoms of a chest infection was seen at 3.15 the same day and given antibiotics!! Very quickly seen

Friendly reception staff. First class doctors who identified an infection following recent stomach surgery. Infection was dealt with immediately and good liason with pharmacy to obtain the required medication. Generally able to get an appointment when necessary. Waiting area always clean. Shame about the broken lift which has been out of service for months.

Used online form to highlight issues I was having, recieved call within a couple of hours an an appointment the same day. Have had similar experiences previously so could not fault service when request made via online portal

Excellent surgery polite and courteous staff from reception, to telephone and nursing staff, the doctors explained everything about my condition and how to manage it, I feel they have time for you and not rushing you.

I was seen promptly, and I was made to feel comfortable and at ease. Throughout my procedure I felt that the nurse had my best intentions at heart and this made me feel very comfortable.

I have never felt so let down by a GP practice as I do with this one. I have chronic long time mental health illness and ptsd and been put on servere mental health list several years ago. I have fibromyalgia and chronic pain and live alone. I have had the flu vaccination for the past 10 years, but this year been told I am not eligible by a very blunt text message. The Doctors at this practice do not understand the implications of there words when talking to someone with poor mental health. I have never felt so valuable and unsupported in my life.

I tried to speak to the doctor about my dying father. The two receptionists I spoke to spoke at me and over me and when I asked them politely to stop talking and listen to me I was told they had every right to terminate the call. I terminated the call instead, they need training to differentiate between an abusive caller and a concerned daughter who could not understand why she could not discuss her father's condition with a doctor.

With regards to the very negative comments posted on the 4th of June, I have always found this Practice to be of the highest standard. The staff are always helpful and kind, I was poorly in the waiting room a couple of weeks ago and they honestly could not have been more kind to me. I know they have had new members of staff so maybe some are not au fait with everything but we all have to learn! The new Manager is great, she can explain things clearly when asked a question. I know there was some upheaval when the previous Manager left at short notice but we as patients have been assured that everything is being done to bring our local, friendly, reliable and accessible service up to its usual high standard. We are so lucky to have this practice in Crich!

Fantastic treatment for my daughter she gets very anxious and the dr was amazing with her and she calmed really well. However When I was making the appointment the receptionist was extremely rude,short and abrupt. And didn’t seem to have any empathy atall and as someone who is dealing with people I don’t think that’s very good.

Rang for an emergency appointment. Was number 4 in a queue but didn't take too long to talk to a receptionist. She was very helpful and got me seen by a doctor that afternoon. The doctor was very nice, helpful and thorough. Would highly recommend this doctors practice.
