Today, 07/03/2025 I had an appointment with one of GP in the practice. The GP was very helpful. I am very happy with the service I received from GP. I highly recommend the crown street surgery. I wish her all best.

The doctors at the surgery apply themselves 100% of the time in terms of simulating the information that I give them and are able to come up with well thought out diagnoses and a reassuring explanation and route to getting better straight recovery. They have also looked after our children With an array of maladies in an exemplary way. The office staff have really raised their game post Covid, so I can only assume some excellent training and recruitment has gone on in the background - well done Crown Street!

The doctor was great. He really helped me with diabetes and insulin usage as a first time patient. His focus was insuring that you received best healthcare from him.

I had a slightly worrying problem and saw the chemist over the weekend. She advised me to make a GP appointment. The form filling is a bit of a pain tbh and did make me worry about those who find forms troubling or alienating: the older; less literate or non-English speaking. But someone called back only half an hour later with a 1040 appointment. The only waiting was because I was early. The doctor was as charming and professional - and effective as ever. She recognised the problem and pretty much assuaged my fears. All sorted, including teaching a couple of students, wholly satisfactorily. I’ve attended this practice for 35 years. It does a jolly good job.

Our staff are here to help either face to face or on the phone to make sure all patients can use the service. The practice is a training practice and regularly have trainees and students with us. It is encouraging that this did not affect your good experience, and your lovely feedback will be sent to Dr Newth and the team who works hard to support our patients through the appointment system.

I was booked in for a Mirena coil fitting and was seen by the specialist doctor. It was refreshing to be seen by a doctor who knows about menopause. She made me feel valued and supported. She listened to my concerns and my symptoms. Once the Mirena was due to be fitted which she talked to me through the whole procedure, the before and after and a follow up call booked to see how I am doing as well as a possible exploration of other HRT. Oh! And the consultation didn't feel rushed! Absolutely top doctor.
