Having falling ill with Bronchitis, I needed help on Xmas eve. I had a face to face appointment the very same day. The GP was so thorough issued medication which I received within 20 minutes of leaving the surgery. Still feeling quite unwell after week, I made another appointment of which I was seen again by a different GP further meds issued and an X-ray organised. It’s quite impressive of how things went so smoothly, the care I received was quality I am so grateful and thank you all.

I have experienced really great care from both the ANPs. I would rather see them as an alternative to the GPs as I find them so thorough, up to date and willing to research health issues. They have both successfully resolved health conditions that I have presented with. Danebridge is good at providing a same day appointments if you have an urgent health condition and can contact them first thing in the morning. I would like to say thank you to the ANPs in particular.

Review titled Very hard to get an appointment

It has become almost impossible to get an appointment at this surgery. When you go to book on line it says no urgent appointments available and no non-urgent appointments available. The advice given is to try the following day at 8am just for the same thing to happen. This goes on and on. They refuse to book appointments over the phone. How on earth are you supposed to get an appointment? Yet they claim to be still taking on patients?

I am on a repeat prescription for a controlled drugs (CDs). Every month, since the system was revised, there has been grief attempting to complete what should be a simple process. Sadly the practice has devised a system they cannot operate effectively. I requested my tablets in a timely manner having previously checked this week that I was in the time window for a medication supply before going away. (If you request too early it gets ignored (2 months ago's effort)!. The CDs show rejection on the NHS app whereas standard meds show 'Approved'. There is no tracking system available to show progress especially for CDs. I rang the surgery just after their time restricted prescription line opened (2pm to 5pm) and was reassured by a very pleasant secretary that the prescription would be signed off by a doctor and transmitted to the pharmacy before the practiced closed for the night. I duly attended my nominated pharmacy shortly before they closed for the weekend to be told of the catastrophic absence of my script, all the worse because I was due to travel to Scotland on the Sunday. The medication is critical to my functioning as it is a very effective controller of neuropathic pain. Without it I cannot sleep, walk comfortably, or function in polite society. To be fair, having the capsules under my control is a major mental prop, even the thought of running out creates huge levels of anxiety. I must be stupid to think that the practice cares about its influence on its patients mental health, otherwise, why institute such restrictive regimes?

The whole system is designed so that it seems impossible to get an appointment. Logged at 8.02am and no availability. This is the 4th time I have tried. 1st time your Internet was not working, I called the surgery to he told this and that was on a call back ( an hour wait), to be told try again tomorrow. Tried again by phone and when my call back came through whoever was at the end of the phone was having a laugh with a colleague and then cut me off despite my saying hello several times. Called twice since and no joy. Proving nearly impossible and how are working people who are often on their way to work at 8am supposed to get an appointment! Extremely frustrating!

What an absolute disgrace this flu clinic was , delay due to IT issues (not a problem) however, they decided that they would shout out time slots instead of just letting the queue flow . I was here on time for my appointment and waited in the queue. Ppl turned up late and jumped straight to the front of the queue ! I have always had my flu jab here as it helps with financing the practice . It has never been done this way. I left after 30 mins of waiting . Straight to the pharmacy and jab done in 5 mins.

From the front desk operatives, through to the secretaries and the doctors themselves, the care I received for my illness was second to none. The prompt action of one of doctors, resulted in my admission to hospital, which was necessary and ensured I got the next stage of treatment I required. I wish I could thank each person who helped me from Danebridge, as I feel very lucky

Have not been feeling too well for some time but the very understanding and professional doctor identified a problem and immediately effected a response. Danebridge team quickly arranged the necessary injection programme with great care and understanding. Danebridge Medical Centre was very busy when I attended and is obviously under great strain and challenges but are holding up well and should be rightfully commended.

I used the new online Patchs link this morning to book my daughter in for an appointment, two minutes after submitting the request I had a phone call with an appointment for her this morning, I was so impressed with the exceptionally quick turn around. I found Patchs easy to set up and also to use too. Great service. Thank you very much .
