Rang 8am on 17.3.23 to arrange telephone appointment with a doctor. Receptionist logged request for me as I had no access to the internet .Received a text which advised appointment would be on 24 March 23 ...one week later ! Rang back and explained needed to speak to to a doctor today as had symptoms a few days and not improving. Receptionist arranged telephone appointment for later that day. Received 2 texts ...one to say appointment between 3.30-4 and one to say at 4pm. I did not receive a telephone call. I know the NHS is struggling however this is not acceptable and symptoms are much worse today.

I was unsure if I needed to see a Dr or nurse face to face and on phoning the surgery I requested the callback option rather than wait in the queue. I received a callback and even though there were no on the day appointments left I was given a face to face appointment for the following day. My appointment was very thorough and I was very impressed that bloods were actually taken during my appointment. I was also placed in the system for a 2 week referral to a hospital for further tests

My minor surgery (albeit put back due to covid, not your fault!!!) Was done in a very professional, pain free and timely manner.

I was fortunate enough to get a same day appointment. The staff were both friendly and helpful and the doctor I saw, was welcoming, patient and knowledgeable.

I have to say, after having four covid injections now the customer service for all of them has been brilliantly organised….on time, not lengthy queues. “Credit to all the people involved in organising these and doing them”.

I have accompanied my elderly mother on her last 3 visits to see the same GP at The Delamere. She was very patient, thorough and understanding and we appreciated the continuity of care.

The surgery has improved. Ring back service is brilliant. Reception staff are helpful and pleasant. Medical staff are very good.
