  1. Review titled Terrible

Rated 1 star out of 5

After my appointment this morning at Ealing Park Health Centre, I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone lately. Since the new staff, the treatment and care you receive is shocking. No time or care out into my appointment with the doctor. I suffer from extremely high blood pressure, and he wouldn't check my readings. You leave with more questions about your health than you do answers or solutions. The new doctors have no idea of previous health history, which is critical when you have serious long term conditions like myself. Feel very disappointed and let down by this surgery.

  2. Review titled Kind and thorough service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

In my last appointment for my children I felt extremely supported and heard, my babies were examined and checked in a very kind and respectful way, I was give valuable information that put my mind and heart at peace. I hope that doctor knows that she makes the world a better place. Previously this month I went for an appointment with another doctor, for myself on the occasion, and also she was so attentive and caring, that made my day better. I thought the least I could do is make a formal complement about them.

  3. Review titled Check up over 40yo and cancelled appointments

Rated 1 star out of 5

I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with my GP Ealing Park Health Centre. I really don’t use them much, unless I need it, however, even when I need them, they are not available. 12th Aug I felt a pain in my calf where I could not put my foot on the floor. Knowing how things work here, I didn't go or call the GP. Stayed at home. 19th Aug pain was worse and hematomas were appearing and very bad swelling in my ankle. Went to the GP and asked for a last-minute appointment. Answer was: send the information and pictures online and we will call you back. I did it and the call later was to book an appointment on the 17th of September!!!!! And wasn't even the doctor who called me, so they could not give me advise what to do and they sent me a link. That Link did not work for days. 28th Aug, things got worse and I thought it was thrombosis. Tried the link that morning and worked. They called me to see me 11h50. Doctor said : ibuprofen and ice ( which I was already doing since 12th) I said that I would like to keep the appointment for the 17th of Sep as I wasn't sure how this was going. Same day asked the reception about the 40 years old check up. Reception: let me check if you are entitled to have one. Me: huh ??? I'm over 40 and never got the info about this, I saw online. She couldn't tell me the reasons but was able to book me for the 11th sep. On 3rd of September got a text message saying that my check up was cancelled ( not surprised ) and on 09th sep got another text saying that the doctor for the 17th of Sep is unwell and not able to attend on the 17th. So, 8 days before the appointment you already know that you are unwell?? Luck me ( actually unlucky ) I was hit by a car riding a bicycle in this meantime and had to go to a&e. There at least they had a look at my calf and understood that although doesn't look like to be thrombosis, I spend a lot of time flying and that can cause more problems in the future and could evaluate my calf and my coccyx ( injured when I was hit) At this point, I really don't know what to do anymore. But I know that this is not what I'm expecting for my health, especially getting older, I don't feel safe because I can't rely on the services provided.

  4. Review titled Excellent experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had a medical issue while on holiday and returned to see a Dr at this practice. Dr Thakar was so helpful. She treated me with respect, helped me really understand what was going on. I arrived anxious and worried and left feeling cared for and with a plan of action. I cannot overstate how nice it is to feel listened to and I really appreciate Dr Thakar.

  5. Review titled Excellent holistic approach! Thank you

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Andrea Davies - Posted on 12 July 2024

My phone appointment yesterday afternoon was to discuss the results of a a series of repeated blood tests; I was advised to only take a daily cod liver oil capsule. The GP took the time to explain the test results which had not provided a clue to my presenting health problem. The GP asked questions about other tablets taken; this led to identifying one which is probably accounting for my problem. I was advised to stop taking it, and arrange for a phone review in 2-3 weeks time.

I would like to praise the nurses and doctors as well as receptionist who took the call when my daughter was unwell. I was given calls back quickly and seen to as well. The care I was shown was great and I really appreciate it. Thank you

  7. Review titled Great G P practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I find all the team incredibly helpful and value their support. We recently had our postnatal check and vaccinations and it was a really good experience. I felt the care was very kind and holistic. The doctor doing the check was thorough and caring. The nurse doing the vaccinations was kind and thoughtful. The administrator even kindly organised the appointments on the same day. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a good gp practice. The admin team are helpful and organised. The nurses are really expert in their areas. The doctors are hugely experienced and knowledgeable, as well as kind. When we have needed urgent care it has been available.

  9. Review titled inappropriate decisions

Rated 1 star out of 5

I had some chest/heart issues. Besides numerous calls in September the GP practice eventually refered me to AE. I went to the hospital and was treated. My condition didnt improve and I ended two more times in AE. I had concern for my heart. After returning from AE I called the GP and informed on the case. I was told that the AE notes will be passed to the doctor and to call on the next day for doctors assessment. I called only to find out that the reception had made the decision not to do anything. I am not sure that they have ever passed the notes to the doctor for assessment. The receptionist at the time was shouting in my ear and making the decision clear of what she things it is. Based on situation itself I am not confident that the receptionist understands accountability for making decision on behalf of the doctor. I also was told that the practice has no time frame on responding to patients. That completely wiped out the meaning of word "care".

  10. Review titled Knowledgeable nurse practitioner

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 11 November 2023

The lovely nurse practitioner was so patient with my rambling on and asked me so many questions. She was so thorough and went through so many things with me and explained so much that nobody had in the past. I left with such a feeling of relief after my visit that I would be looked after by a total professional person who also has compassion. Highly recommend based on this lady’s care.
