The fact I’m going to have sleepless nights and worry until after the new year about whether I will still be prescribed a medication issued to me by a t specialist consultant. A receptionist phoned to say that my request for HRT that is on my repeat prescription list was being restricted and I would have to see their clinic despite being prescribed it by a hospital consult a specialist in the field. The receptionist was understanding of my concerns however understandably did not have the information about why this was happening and therefore could not explain the reason. She did say she would get an emergency last supply as she understood that you can’t just suddenly stop something, which is credit to her however it has left me unnecessarily anxious and worried about my future health. I would sooner have the person who is requesting the action to contact the patient to explain why you are putting different measures into place as at least you can explain why it is happening and what is going to happen rather than leave it to someone who doesn’t have the power or knowledge to answer my concerns leaving me concerned and anxious which is having a further detrimental effect on my health. Absolutely beside myself.

The Doctor took what time he could to have a conversation about my issue & initiated the next course of action I hoped for.

Following a recent spate of breathlessness I managed to get a examination on the Monday by a new doctor who told plenty of rest and to expect problems as I had just recently spent time in hospital ( 8 days ) and all was ok - on the Wednesday I attended the hospital for a 6 month checkup on my pass maker and within a hour I was back on the cardiac ward and am still here in QA - - happy at all with that appointment

That it takes over a month to get a prescription. Told that I needed to see a nurse when I didn't. Surgery not sending over prescription in time.

I was called in for an appoitnment by the doctors for a 6month review so i didnt want to be there nor really know why i was there. I didnt get seen for 25minutes and the doctor had absolutely no clue how to interact with someone struggling with a mental illness. I have never felt so uncomfortable or awkward in a setting where youre meant to be honest and truthful so infact i wasnt just so i could leave. If i had this doctor when i first reached out for help for my anorexia, i would have left without getting help.

The doctor was kind and understanding. I expected to be passed over as time wasting, but he listened and treated me very well

I rang the surgery enquiring about steroid injections, the receptionist was very helpful and said she would leave a message for my Doctor to contact me back, 5 weeks later and still not heard from him. What's the point of having a Doctor when they can't be bothered to get back to you.

Although I had to wait as there had been an accident I was in and out as soon as I could be . The receptionist looked like she was dealing with a difficult situation but still had time to advise me to go upstairs and wait
