    I have been prescribed Diazepam now 3 or 4 times because I am terrified of flying, it is a complete phobia. I have had to try and reach the doctor 4 times the past week to get some more as I have a flight coming up and have ran out. I filled out an online form in the end to which a doctor responded; ‘Your request for Diazepam has been rejected. Diazepam is neither licensed or recommended to treat phobias like the fear of flying.’ So why have I been prescribed it before? Why does it say on the front of the prescription box ‘for fear of flying’? I am now having to get on a flight next week completely unprepared and terrified. Clearly one of my doctors has lied to me or prescribed me incorrectly. What can I do from here? Will be moving my doctors as soon as I can- this is disgusting.

    I arrived at Well Hall surgery today for a shingles vaccination. I had phoned the practice last week to see if I was eligible and given today’s appointment. The nurse decided that I was too early (she had a list and apparently I’m due in September). If that’s the case then fine but why let me take a morning from work without advising me that I was going to be turned away? Pay for missed appointments - that should go both ways!!!!!

    I came yesterday to give blood as I am disabled I came a bit early with my wife, It was very busy so after a few minutes the receptionist asked us to move so I got up and said something not very nice to my self it was not supposed too meant for others to hear and as we were walking out the receptionist shouted that what I said and banned mme from coming there I was surprised about that as the comment was in no way towards her or her team. I would like to apologise if I have upset anyone.

    I had a surgery at Queen Elizabeth and they asked my dressings to be checked and changed by a nurse at my GP practice. 2 days in a row this practice has been unable to give be an appointment and has asked me to go to ugent care for it instead. They have 1 nurse to serve a vast region and high number of patients. Extremely dissapointing.

    Dear Patient, Thank your for your feedback. Please accept our apologies that we were unable to offer you a nurses appointment, but unfortunately, one of our nurses left the practice and although we do actually have 2 nurses at the moment, we are short of appointments. We are in the process of recruiting another nurse, but until we are fully staffed in our nurses team and, so you get the correct care we would advise you either go urgent care or to the out of hours hub to get your dressing checked and changed.     Hard to get an appointment, once the appointment slots become available to book you have to wait about 6 weeks to actually see a Dr. Test results are sent via SMS with no offer of a follow up appointment, or even a call from the Dr to discuss treatment or further tests; the patient has to phone T H E M to T R Y to get an appointment. The whole thing is a shambles! Can’t wait to get a job with private healthcare!

Our appointment books are open 4 weeks in advance for routine appointments, but do offer same day for urgent appointments. Test results can be viewed on the NHS app or sent via text if requested once the clinician has read them and there is no further action needed. If we received your result and the clinician needs to see you to discuss the results or further treatment, then we will contact you to book an appointment.     Life protecting medicine was removed without warning from my mother’s dosette box and I was sent a text asking to make a GP appt? My mother has dementia and therefore asking to do this is virtually impossible. We are paying a fortune on Carers for repeated trips to and from the pharmacy trying to get to the bottom of what an earth is going on. Then they want a phone consultation with a Gp again with carer present? This was despite a booked in medical review just a few days later??. The automation is chaotic, stressful time consuming and frustrating. And completely pointless for a frail lovely someone with dementia.

    I have had to deal with the surgery quite a bit lately and I have found it to be excellent. I have all of my e-consults answered promptly. Yes I do have to wait a few weeks for an appointment but that is due to high demand. If I need a same day appt I make sure I’m up and calling the practice at 8am to get one simple as that. The reception staff have always been lovely and helpful whenever I have had to speak with them and the doctors have always been great at dealing with my issues. I can’t fault them at all. I have been at this practice on and off since I was a child and never once had an issue with anyone there. Keep up the great work :)

    My mother had been unwell. I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who asked about my mother and suggested that with the info provided should be seen on the same day. An appointment with their ANP was made for 30 mins later. The ANP was fantastic. A very thorough history and examination was performed followed by and urgent ultrasound referral and blood analysis. Following the results of the ultrasound and bloods, not only was my mother referred for an urgent CT the ANP took the time to contact me to let me know of the findings. The whole process to date has been seamless. Thankfully looks like all is ok! Excellent service in my opinion

    Void for any cost! Reception team is useless- they only make your life more difficult, make so many mistakes and honestly dont bother to help - every call with them is a proof of no common sense at all, they waste your time and NHS money and resources, making everything so complicated for no reason. The worst GP you can find - do jot join or you will literally need to stress a lot to get anything done. Reception team is acting like they are doctors and try to make a decisions for you for no reason- honestly a joke.

    A hospital prescription was prescribe for our granddaughter by her consultant. We were advised to take prescription to our own surgery and a doctor would prescribe for us to collect from our local chemist. Our granddaughters hospital appointment was on a Tuesday. No prescription sent to local chemist for collection until the following Monday. This was despite making constant telephone calls to the chemist and the surgery. Friday before medication was available for collection we were assured everything was with the doctor awaiting signature and would be sent electronically to the chemist that night….surprise, surprise this didn’t happen until we started chasing, again, on Monday morning. The way In which the surgery operates is absolutely amateurish. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. Lack or breakdown internally of communication. No empathy, especially after having made numerous phone calls in regards to the medication. Not fit for purpose.
