I rang the practice at 4pm in the afternoon to hopefully get an appointment. I was triaged by a very helpful woman and offered an appointment at 7.10pm that evening at Passy Place. The doctor I saw also offered me a follow up appointment in 3 days time for some minor surgery at Westmount Road. This is first class service under any circumstances, so grateful for all the staff and Partners are doing to improve the service in these difficult times. My thanks to you all.

Please disregard my last review Dr called me at 8 pm I had no idea the Dr’s worked so late after surgery closed and thought i had been forgotten. Problem all sorted now and such a lovely Dr

When I am given an appointment it is never with a doctor. Not even with a nurse. I get to see someone who only goes by their first name. My blood pressure is never taken. I am told to go and take it myself. Even though I am very elderly now. I remember when I used to see a doctor face to face. He/she always took my blood pressure etc etc etc. And that was many years ago. If I object in any way the receptionists tell me in a rather rude way that this is how it is today. I recently got a text to my mobile phone telling me that my flu jab was due. I went to Eltham Medical Practice and was informed by the receptionist that I could not have the flu jab there. But had to go to a surgery that I have never been to before. Two miles away in two months time. I could write a book of complaints about this excuse for a practice. Actually the word ' practice' sums it up. Once upon a time I knew who my doctor was. Now if someone asks me who he/she is I can only answer Eltham Medical Practice. Even though there is a big board on the wall in reception with over fifteen doctors names on it.

Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback, Our appointments are with both doctors and Advanced Nurse Practitioners, your issues are triaged and you will be booked with the most appropriate clinician available. Our practice has 3 sites and you are advised that your appointment maybe be at any of the 3 sites, although there are not 2 miles away from each other. You can see the same clinician but need to be aware the wait would be longer. Hope this has answered all your issues. Regards Eltham Medical Practice

Phoned for urgent telephone appointment as I had been monitoring my blood pressure and noticed a high rise to 213/103 told dr would call later that day. Well it’s now7:45pm and I’ve had no call maybe high blood pressure is not important to them now ! Not happy at all a A&E visit may be my only option if it doesn’t lower

I have recently been diagnosed with diabetes and high cholesterol, the surgery and doctors are very efficient and great, I called up at 2pm to book an appointment got one for the next day, keep it up Eltham Medical Practice

It's almost impossible to get an appointment and when i finally did, I had to wait 3 weeks. Turned up for said appointment, practitioner didn't arrive for work so I was told tough luck, phone on Friday when some appointments may become available. that was 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting.

This practice has really gone downhill. Impossible to get an appointment when you are ill. For routine asthma review they inundated me with texts to make an appointment but constantly put on hold - when working it’s not possible to wait for almost an hour - then withdrew my prescription for pump which could of had serious consequences without notice. Had a review follow up booked for today and after they’d already changed it 3 times they have cancelled at the last minute too late to cancel leave from work. Phoned to book a new appt as text requested selected appt option and after it rang for a bit they hung up 6 times before eventually answering - good help me if it had been critical! Have made it clear not willing to lose another days work and the nurse can phone me if they still need to and requested that they ensure they don’t withdraw prescription again - not confident that message will be relayed though so we will see

So disappointed with this surgery’s appointment line. It is hard enough to deal with the unknown of a heath condition, made worse by a rude and condescending individual booking appointments. To read out someone’s diagnosis letter from a specialist and refer to it as not urgent when said receptionist is not a medical practitioner or had not attended the appointment is completely out of order. Not everyone is suited for a job in the health and care industry and I would urge the management of Eltham Medical Practice to listen to calls and ensure that staff are properly trained and corrected accordingly in how they deal with patients, to avoid causing patients further distress. To the GPs - it is your reputation that is on the line - not the receptionist or appointment line attendants. Please bear this in mind in parallel with how you handle your patients and how you communicate with them in simple and clear language. You have a duty of care to ensure your patients understand their diagnosis and support them through the process.

I attended an appointment at the mole clinic and saw such an amazing Gp ( unfortunately, I had to edit my review as was not allowed to name him, which is a shame) - he was so kind, listened and took the time to answer all my other queries and questions ( I came with more than one!) He is absolutely amazing, this is what GP care is all about - Thankyou

I cannot express how much I'm in pain and fed up keep requesting passy place to refer me to my consultant at msk as they told me I'm on msk but my gp has to refer me and they happy to see ne so I've been asking for a month now yet still not had any referell made re my highest points of fibromyalgia. Please please I need a referell ASAP
