I’ve been recently diagnosed with breast cancer, the receptionist is amazing, professional, bubbly, friendly , understanding makes my day when I speak to her … been at this surgery since 2005 and it’s the best place & so clean as well.

Personally, I have found the staff from GP's, nurses, reception staff and almost everybody in-between to be very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Today was an example of that. I had just come out of hospital this morning. I needed an issue with some medication dosage to be sorted out. The staff member that I spoke with, went above and beyond to help me. I wasn't feeling well and she took the pressure off. Also, thanks to the quick thinking of one of the GP's, I was sent straight to hospital in an ambulance. Thank you to most of you at that practice. I think you are doing a great job even under difficult circumstances.

Advanced Nurse Practitioner in room 12 was very professional and thorough and didn't feel rushed. Very pleased with the all round treatment and time given.

Hi Justin We are so lucky to have Becky Waller Advanced Nurse Practitioner on our team. She is also our infection control lead and lead nurse and works so hard keeping us all safe. Room 12 was build during covid and is a great addition of our clinical rooms. It is wonderful for her to get this review and for us to see it in black and white. i had a issue with my medications and staff went out of their way to make sure i had what i needed last minuite on a friday bringing the meds to me themselves as i couldnt get out i am so gratefull for all the help and support and patience they have given me over the past couple months i cant belive how lucky i am to have found fairbrook medical center thank you

My sugar levels were very high and I was seen by the pharmacist who started me on Dapagliflozin. I was a bit hesitate at first but seen being on it for 9 weeks I have not had any side effects and my sugar levels have stabilised. I am very pleased medication and service.

I know people complain a lot about GP Practices and yes they all have flaws no systems are perfect. But over the last year the Dr, Nurses, mental health workers, pharmacist, admin staff have gone above and beyond to support our family in every way possible They have seen us when we need to be seen, had phone calls to help us out, dealt with complicated pharmacy requests, helped get urgent appointments when needed and do much more they have been fabulous A massive thank you

I want to thank Fairbrook Medical Centre for their wonderful care and attention to my elderly parents. It is a very busy surgery but this has never hampered their patience and service. All the staff, doctors and nurses have been so kind in helping my family get the treatment required promptly. I know they are under pressure due to vast demand from new housing estates being built in the area and everyone needs a GP Surgery. Fairbrook have been absolutely brilliant - again I cannot thank them enough.

I had the unfortunate experience of suddenly my long term prescription getting changed due to a mis-communication. I called the surgery, yes, i had to wait a little bit as i called at 8.30 when everyone calls but a very helpful/ knowledgable /polite receptionist answered and listened to my dilemma, she then arranged for the pharmacy department to call me back by 1pm. Infact I got a call back within a couple of hours by a male pharmacist. He was extremely helpful / supportive and sorted out the issue quickly . I am again on track with my correct medication...a huge relief!. So thank you!!

Hi Claire Thank you so much for taking the time and giving us a fair review. I am sorry for the mis communication but equally so pleased to hear that it was sorted out promptly. Great to know that our receptionist/care Co ordinator was very helpful/ knowledgeable /polite. Listening skill are key to this roll. Our clinical pharmacist and team are wonderful and such an asset to Fairbrook. Some good news is that we have updated our phone lines as of the beginning of June and added a call back system. Great feedback from patients. In future if you ring us in our busy times, you will be given the option to ask for a call back. Treated by the surgery as well as I have always been over the year I have been with them. The receptionist are good. I saw the male pharmacist and was unwell he sorted me out - prescribed what I should have had done. He did an x ray and it was all normal.

The practice nurse has proved herself extremely helpful many times. I have had to see her for my children a few times and each time she has proved very helpful and thoughtful. The receptionists are also getting miles better with available appointments.

Dear Patient. Thank you for your time and update on the surgery. Wonderful to hear that our practice nurse has been extremely helpful and thoughtful with your children. Our receptionist / Care Co ordinators listen and then are able to signpost into all our various appointments we have available. We have been helped over the winter months with our Locality Respiratory Hub that we have moved heaven and earth to house in Borehamwood, actually having it at Fairbrook so that our patients don't have to travel too far. Unfortunately this funding finishes 31.03.2023 and the extra appointment capasity will be sorely missed. I will pass your wonderful feedback onto the whole team and I am so grateful for your time.
