Cannot get through till all appointments gone. All appointments go to people queuing up for 8pm, if you can't get there you've got no chance. Usual - head to walk in staff there hate Fir Park same old complaints. Walk in tells you you need expediting for emergency surgery but only gp can do this, back on the merry-go-round. Next day finally get through to surgery all appointments gone, surprise surprise, told that I have to use the app and use patches. Keep getting error code 404??? Finally get to log in Stage and it clearly states that this is not an emergency service. I Doctors at fir park seem absolutely great it's just getting to speak to them. If I could book my self into the vets I would care there is far superior.

The Service I received was exemplary. The practitioner carried out all the tests in a friendly & professional way. I felt very comfortable. The level of detail & explanation of results was what I would expect in the private sector. Very impressed. I was talked through all the results and how they impacted on my life. I never felt like an "Inconvenience". Really Pleased

I had a face to face appointment for a complex problem. The doctor explored every angle with me and left me re-assured that suitable treatment was available. There was no rushing or "screen gazing" just complete focus on the part of the doctor on my problem until I was happy. Really impressed!

Dr Tom Wellens sent me to have blood test. On receipt of the results he immediately contacted me to inform me I needed to go to Whiston hospital with low white blood cells. He tried to obtain a bed but failing that he wrote a personal letter that ensured those working at A&E understood the urgency of my condition. It was because of that drive and determination by Dr Tom Wellens that has lead me being seen by the hematology department who intend to undertake bone biopsy to assess what is actually happening with my blood. Did an online consultation through Patches. Immediate response saying I would be contacted that day. Doctor rang in afternoon and gave me an appointment for later same day . Saw a new GP for the first time - what an absolute great credit to his profession. After all the recent negative opinions of NHS - this experience gave me renewed hope . What an asset to Fir Park

Doctors are good when you get an appointment on the phone for ages get put in a que then the phone goes dead and cuts you off you have to go back to the beginning staff unhelpful just send you to the Walk in center which is very busy but work hard to get to seen .

He was so so through and patient, he went above and beyond for me and my son in a joint appointment despite my appointment initially being telephone, I was at the surgery already and he made time to see me face to face. He has also arranged to personally oversee our cases due to my sons anxiety and the complexities Couldn’t recommended him enough. What a great doctor!

A previous hospital examination was extremely painful and I was worried to have the same examination again. I discussed this with the nurse and she put me at ease at talked me through the process. I had no pain and was put very much at ease.

As a kidney patient I have tried for 3 days to see my gp his request mind you to be told no appointments, A new prescription from kidney specialist with no information on how they want me to take them it's a shambles

I do hope that you have been able to speak to the secretary of your kidney specialist for further information on the medication prescribed by them, or a clinician or clinical pharmacist here at Fir Park Medical Centre. We do offer pre-bookable appointments here at Fir Park Medical Centre both over the telephone and via the NHS App, and we also have the pre-bookable GP Extra service available at evenings or weekends. As a cancer patient I rang to make an urgent request for help. I was shouted at by the staff on the reception and told to call at 8am the following morning or to attend the 'walk in or A&E' The 'on call' Dr refused to help, because she had had a couple of extras to deal with. I understand the pressure bu to deny a cancer patient a call or assistance is appalling.
