I found ringing to book my sons appointment at the time it starts allowing calls at 8.30am (could do with updating this if at all possible to earlier) not easy due to school run time. So being on a phone and walking my son to school who has Asd is very tricky. I managed to get appointment friendly receptionist offered several times and asked if same day or not an emergency. I thought he can wait, and choose a time of 9.15 a week later. Strangely I had a phone call at 8.25 they day before the appointment. When I went to the appointment apparently it was booked for 8.30 and they tried to ring. So they tried to ring the day before I checked my phone when home. The receptionist did try and do all she could to re book him in however the tech could be updated to a text message to confirm any appointments would help improve this booking service and if changes made to also text to call. I didn't notice any voicemail come through. But the whole experience was very frustrating.

I have been reading previous reviews about the new Triage system which I believe started in Jan/ Feb of this year. I find like a lot of the other reviews that this current system is a step or three backwards. Patients having to put down ailments that has nothing to do with why they are trying to make an appointment just to get through the triage system. I've just tried to book a blood test and was going around in circles for 10-15 minutes so I gave up. I will find an alternative venue. God knows what I'll do if I really become ill with this system. By the reading of some of the reviews of the new triage system I think a lot of patients are running out of patience.

Having called to make an appointment was told can only be done on line. Having done this I was booked in with the paramedic practitioner who could not help with my breathing problem and swollen legs. Had to book another appointment for the next day.

For three days I have been trying to get an appointment to see a Dr through this awful system. Got an out of hours who said I needed to call Dr's next day and book to see a Dr (this is what I was trying in the first place) booked again through system and it gave me an appointment for 2.30pm on sat 2nd at the surgery with extended Dr's- surprise surprise place is closed as I'm here and no call from Dr's. Rapid health is far from rapid I will be making a complaint to the practice manager on Monday

Trying to get an appointment is ridiculous. I was on hold for 2 hours get to caller 1 to then be cut off. Went down to the Surgery to be told there isn't any appointment left to ring 111 all i need is wee dip for my daughter the place is an Absolute joke. They send everyone to the walk in centre even they have said they have a lot of Patience from this Surgery.

The new booking system is a complete nightmare, all I needed to do was speak to a doctor with regards to blood tests, tried to call but after 1 hour on hold I have up. Tried the automated system but that is a complete nightmare as you have to put in all your symptoms great but I don't have any symptoms. So just made up symptoms to get an appointment. Id you are elderly or disabled or suffer mental health issues you would really suffer, and to them have to be on hold for hours on end is not realistic. Please go back to the old system.

I have only been with this practise a coupe of years and was always pleased with it though hard to get a appointment at times. However this new system is a complete nightmare!! I couldn't see my real issue so had to make one up and that was still impossible!! I gave up. This all adds to patients anxiety or feeling unwell I expect. I daresay the people saying how good it is have not been through the awful new process!! Once you get a appointment the service from the doctors are great. It's a Shame because the surgery was otherwise great before this system. I used to praise it but not now.
