I was offered a cancellation appointment for a Saturday morning by a very friendly member of the reception team for a coil removal, replacement and a cervical screen. I was advised what to do leading up to the appointment. On the day I was welcomed by a friendly GP and nurse who both made me feel completely at ease for what is an uncomfortable but necessary procedure. The nurse chatted to me all the way through and both checked I was OK and gave reassurance. I've always had a positive experience at Gloucester Road in my 20 years of being a patient there. Simply the best practice.

I phoned regarding a problem and the surgery managed to get me an appointment to see the Practice Nurse the same day. She was very helpful and gave me some good advice as well as treating the problem.

When I saw the Nurse today for my shingles jab it was the first time I had met her. She was lovely & put me at ease. I would be very happy to have her for another appointment in the future.

I have attended the surgery twice this month once for a GP appt and once for a blood draw/test. On both occasions the care and help that I have received has been excellent. Both the GP and HCA listened carefully and tailored their care to my needs. Reception staff have been great on the phone and in person re follow up bookings and results. Thank you!

I made the appointment to find out what the symptoms I was experiencing meant and what could be done about them. The doctor examined me and very quickly diagnosed what was wrong. She proposed appropriate medication, a.blood test and another appointment in about a month. I was very happy with the outcome of this consultation.

The phone appointment was On time,the Doctor sounded interested and engaged with the last two weeks, her request for Blood pressure and pulse to enable us to progress with the treatment. A positive outcome.

I made a private blood test for the big range of results to check myself (this I left on me because I didn't want to prove or beg to my gp that I need this checkup). Today I sent to econsult my bad results by text and the pics of all results as well. And I was asking what to do. Now they sent me sms, saying about the appointment on monday in the morning and if I can't come I should call straight away. Ok then, I called because I work in the mornings. So lady on the phone couldn't rearrange, saying that econsult is special system she can't touch and she told me to call tomorrow in the morning. She also said they give available times and I understood I have to be happy that I've got the appointment. When I asked about the phone call from the GP - she again sent me to call another days. Very rude system. I've done a good thing = I called and told that I can't come , but I didn't get even "thank you"for letting us to know. I even don't know now - they think any person can left work anytime they need? I can't. I saved the money to NHS with my private blood test so I don't think I asked too much from the NHS this time.

I received a telephone triage call back from a GP 10 minutes after I initially called in and was seen that morning. Suspected diagnosis made very quickly, and swift referral to specialist. Amazing service.
