    I have had a couple of stays in hospital, and the practice has followed up on my medication and also made sure I have blood test and vaccines etc.

    I have some medical issues and i went to this GP Surgery in January or February. They didn’t gave me proper treatment. They refer me for a medical test, which was supposed to be done in May. That was cancelled, then they gave me appointment for medical test for October now that is also cancelled and now i am waiting for my test appointment for November. And still i am not sure this will be happen or not. Worst service. I am completely disappointed with the service. When they will do the test and when they start my treatment no one knows.

    Never get an appointment. People on the reception dont talk nicely and they never help or advice to understand the situation. I will never recommend this surgery to anyone.

    There is very little space to be able to say what I think. First of all,is terrible. The customer service of the people at reception is terrible. If we want to go to the doctor, it is for pain or an emergency and they do not want to give a medical appointment. It does not seem coherent to me that you should see a doctor by phone. The doctor should examine you physically. but here, unfortunately, medical attention is very bad.

    I called up the surgery in October to book an appointment to get a blood test. When I phoned up I was informed about all the different methods for of booking an appointment, and a really good system - booking via eConsult. I found this so easy and got a confirmed appointment within 2 days at a time convenient to me. Haven't seen any other GP offer this so was very happy! When I met with the doctor, they were very helpful and I was given the time and opportunity to explain all my health concerns and the doctor gave me all the blood tests I wanted, so I was very happy with the appointment. Reception staff walked me through how to link my NHS app to my GP records, and now I can see my results on my phone. I got my results within 2 days and was personally contacted with a follow up appointment for one of my results and was able to speak to the doctor again regarding treatment. Continuity of care is really good and the service has been great for me. Thank you to everyone at Goodmayes Medical Centre!

    You can never get through to get an appointment, and when you do get to speak to someone all the appointments are gone. You are told to do an on line assessment first. Not good if like me you happen to work. If you are late the dr might not see you if the drs late or making calls that's okay. The last time I had a blood test I got an out of date form with wrong information.

    this is a terrible surgery cant get an appointment unless you call between a certain time we should be able to book an appointment when its not urgent but no you have to call everyday in the hope you get through within the half hour period its madness why cant we book an appointment say for a few days time or even a week when you just need to speak about your long term illness

    I am satisfied with the GP consultation, if successful to get. I had ENT problems and I was referred to ENT Consultant that a positive things of GP to refer, if unable to manage themselves. GP is polite and guide you properly for any medical concerns.

    Staff rude no empathy and no willingness to resolve problems....I would not send my worst enemy here..... erratic and irrational and unethical decision making ..regards a patients needs ....this place needs a deep decision on everyday practice.The Doctor seem not to really want to practice in a professional manner.Staff are never listening or accommodating a patients needs? patients are treated worse than bad veterinary doctor ..

    It's not easy to get appointments and that for me is very annoying. There has been times when I really needed to see the gp and I couldn't get an appointment ended up in A&E and waited for 12 hours. When I called the gp at 8am I will be on hold for about 20 to 30 minutes and when they answer me they tell me there are no appointments left call tomorrow. Then I call the next day unfortunately I get told the same thing. Ehst kind of surgery is rhis where you can not get appointments I have managed to get sometimes but its like 98% of that. I have been with this gp from 2001 or so and I don't even know how I have stayed there this long. The other issue I have is my children are in boarding school in Wales and when they are on holiday and fall sick they are not allowed to see the gp here because they removed them from the register. This is there home so o find this system annoying.

    Dear Patient, I would like to apologise for your experience. We aim to facilitate and provide both pre-bookable and same-day appointments for patients who contact the surgery. When a patient requests a same-day appointment, we aim to provide this to patients who contact the surgery from 8 am on the day. We always strive to meet the needs of patients and have allocated telephone and face-to-face appointments for those patients who need to be seen on the same day. The demand for same-day appointments can vary from day to day and can have an impact on this availability on occasion. Regarding your childrens registration with the surgery, please could you provide some more information to goodmayesmedical.centre@nhs.net so I can look into this further. If you do have any questions or wish to discuss the matter in more detail, please contact the practice manager on 020 8590 1169 and we can arrange a convenient time and date to meet.
