Review titled Impossible to get through on the phone

The website states the opening hours 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, but it's impossible to get through the phone at any time of the day. Just now I was held waiting in a queue for 2 hours and finally nobody picked the phone on their end! This should be solved as quickly as possible, I'm thinking about placing a formal complaint about that practice.

No one answers, tried calling 5 times, held in a cue being told what number I was, then when I get down to caller 3 or 2 changes to a ring tone, waiting another 30 minutes so nearly an hour in all and still no answer!!!

Recently you texted me an invite for a flu jab with a link to book an appointment online. I was not able to book an appointment anf followed the advice to phone the surgery to book one. After trying 3 seperate times today and waiting for over an hour I finally got through to be told there were no under 65 appointments left and I should ring at the end of week when some more might be released. My suggestion would be that if all the under 65 appointments have gone then why not text me again to say that and so save me and you time as I would not have had to call the surgery to be told they might have some at the end of the week. Reading through the other comments on the feedback pages I can echo all of the comments and have had the same experience as many others have had.

I was referred to this surgery to have a 24 hour ECG monitor fitted. Although it was time consuming getting through on the phone, the staff I encountered were so helpful. They went above and beyond the level of service I expected and helped me sort out various issues I had. Phone calls were returned and help was offered and provided when I did not expect it. I am very grateful to the staff that provide the ECG service.

I have a lump on my chest! spent 4 mornings attempting to book an apt at 8am so went into clinic to be told they cant accept appointments at all unless I came in (Queued) from 0730. unacceptable on all levels. looking to change Doctors

The doctor 4 weeks ago had asked me to drop down readings so they can review and get back to me which I did. I get no response from anyone even thought I stress my tablets were running out. Today I try to phone them to see if someone was going to be in touch .You can never get an answer, this morning I had the phone put down on me after waiting ages for it to be answered. When I finally get through the receptionist tells me that I am suppose to ring to find out what the doctor had decided. This I was not told when I dropped my readings down and I would not have known anything if I had not called them. The receptionist was abrupt, rude and did not let me speak. She told me doctors are too busy to call back patients and we know that trying to get to see one is near on impossible now. So the moral of this is patients health is not important since lockdown and if you want something or need something you need to do it all yourself. Doctors will just write prescriptions and send you somewhere else to get treatment. I yearn for the days when you could book an appointment and physically see a doctor for help not just speak to the receptionist and hope for the best.

System to see a GP with this surgery Is totally Broken- previous comments support this. How can you be In the first ten in the que and still have no appointments left. Or you get to position 2 the phone rings and carries on ringing for 40mins as your lost in the system and no one answers? How many appointments are there for the day? This system is not working and all you are doing is pushing everyone into over flowing urgent care centres for an 11 hour wait. A couple of months ago I had to take one of my kids to urgent care twice and see a hub GP as I tried for 8 days to get an appointment with you and couldn't. Finally got to see our GP who diagnosed the problem but I should not have to keep going to urgent care and the Hubs. I have been with this surgery since it first began and never has it felt so disorganised. Understood this when we were in the Pandemic but that's finished so why have you not gone back to system that worked well before? Bring back booking to see a GP. The fact the practice manager has not answered any of the feedback reviews is not good either. It feels like you don't care! This surgery has some great Doctors so please tell me why I can never get an. Appointment when I need one? I would also like to say that I am not someone who ever rushes straight to see a GP for myself or my kids. I try everything possible first so that I am not taking up an appointment but when I get to the point I jeed an appointment-- I should be able to book one

i have been dealing with acne for the past 6 months and i keep trying to get appointments as i need to try and get rid of it after past fails for medication but when you ring up once you get to the front of the queue they cut you off and end the call- this is very rude for someone who hates them self’s and all they want to see is the doctor. Once you finally get through you have to wait like a whole week for a online appointmet this is so silly

Phoned in due to serious back pain and Dr called me back very promptly and gave good advice and prescribed appropriate medication. Very sympathetic and professional service 10 out of 10 many thanks. Well done NHS Green st Green!
