Was invited for a Covid vaccination at 10.30 on Saturday 5 April I arrived at 10.15 to find the queue was from the surgery to the far side of the car park and my jab did not take place until 11.00 a.m should have been better organised

Disappointed with having to queue for nearly 1 hour before we were seen to,a lot of people complaining

Were seen straight away had sample taken same day just waiting for results which I hope will be back soon as I'm anxious about results

When I went for my last appointment, the staff were attentive and punctual. The purpose of my visit was addressed well and I left satisfied with my treatment.

Appointment time was 09.49 ! I arrived about 5 minutes early to find a queue stretching from the consulting rooms , through the waiting room and across the car park. It took about 35 minutes before I was seen. Although the weather was fine, it was chilly, and several of this group of elderly people needed to sit down. One lady fell and required nurse intervention, which further delayed the proceedings. In short, there were too many patients, and too few staff. I assume, like me, everyone had an appointment time, so the delay could have been avoided.

Please be reassured that the clinic was fully staffed and not over-booked, but we did have an issue with our systems that was beyond our control which caused delays, and also patients arriving outside of their allocated appointment times. We run large flu clinics every autumn without these issues, and we are sorry that outside factors meant that this was not the case on this occasion. kind regards, Grosvenor Medical Centre

My husband and I were able to get appointments for our Covid jabs last Saturday 5th April at 09:51 and 09:52. As traffic/road works around Crewe it’s difficult to assess journey time, we arrived early approximately 09:40. We were met with a large queue trailing out of the surgery door and across the car park. This didn’t move very quickly and although sunny it was really chilly. Taking into account the age of all the vaccine recipients and some of their infirmities- not a good situation. We got our vaccinations and left at 10:25. In the time we were there one person waiting fell in the car park and had to be treated! Had the weather been inclement the whole situation would have been much worse. There must be a health and safety issue here with the numbers booked and the inability to service that number in a timely manner along with the unsuitable waiting areas.

Had to wait in a long queue, had an appointment but had to wait in the queue round the car park for about an hour, when I struggle standing it’s difficult. Normally very good with no complaints.

I saw an acp, he was very friendly and helpful, he spent a lot of time with me…didn’t rush and asked loads of questions. He then examined me and told me what he thought was the matter….he was very easy to talk to and put me at my ease

The. Only problem I had was that I could not book on line and had to ring the practice to book, only to be told I needed to book on line it needs sorting

Please be advised our website service is open periodically between the hours of 7.30am and 7.00pm in the evening. However, we do have to close the service throughout the day for clinical safety due to the volume of requests we receive. We process the requests waiting and then reopen the service. If you do not succeed accessing the service, a notice does advise it is currently closed and to try later. Arrived for 9 30 appointment at 9 20 for over 75 Covid Booster. 50yard queue outside the surgery so walked away.
