Seen very quickly (same day) after describing my symptoms, thank you. The only feedback I do have is that when I initially rang reception and described my symptoms to ask if there were any book-on-day slots, I was informed I needed to use the website form. I mentioned I thought this form was only for appointments >48hrs away and not for urgent ones- and the concern with my breathing - I was advised I still needed to use the form. I completed the form with the same info I had described to the receptionist and was sent a text that asked me to ring the practice immediately to book an urgent appointment and not to use the form for urgent/ on the day appointment enquiries. I just wanted to flag this up as I felt I was doing the wrong thing either way! I was seen straight away which is brilliant, so thank you, I appreciate how much of a workload everyone must be under.

I had a telephone consultation with an acp, he was friendly, caring & really informative. I didn’t feel rushed, we were able to discuss the issues & he clarified information! My Daughter recently had to have a telephone consultation with a Doctor. My Daughter is only 16 & it’s a big deal speaking to a Dr at that age, I was sat next to her & heard how caring & reassuring Dr was, she listened & spoke to my daughter in a way that she understood. Her mind was put at ease & she feels comfortable with the next steps. Thank you!!

I’ve been seen for steroid injection following the triage form I completed. An appointment was made for me on the following day. The doctor who saw me was professional, polite, patiently explained all risks and benefits, answered all my questions and administered the injection. I was relaxed and confident that everything would go well and it did. I am very happy it was so quick and easy to get an appointment and I’m very happy with the outcome of my appointment. Great service. Thank you.

Usually I have a great service from this practice but unfortunately on this occasion I was very disappointed I felt that I wasn't listened to, the doctor was irritable and he ended the call before I could explain the digital programme he was referring me to I had already been on for 12 weeks. The digital programme hasn't accepted me as I have been on it already. I now need to try to make another appointment hopefully with a different doctor that will grace me with the same respect and courtesy that I give them with.

My appointment was with MSK practitioner, previously seen for same issue that had deteriorated. She had my information & X-ray ready for examination and discussion, explained what had happened to increase my pain, and what options were available. She also made sure that I understood and verified our choice of actions. She remembered me from the previous visit several months ago! She’s always professionally courteous, a great listener, and a pleasure to see, making me feel at ease during the appointment.

Went in to book an appointment at 0830hrs, and had been seen by a doctor by 1030hrs. Very fast work. I now have an appointment with the hospital.

I know the nhs is changing but submitting a photo of a condition is taking it a bit to far , plus a chance to discuss the dosage was not given , as I’m still itching day and night , yes it’s not as bad but it’s not gone yet, think that is about it .

Please be advised that the submission of photographs from patients is a useful tool for both the patient and clinicians when assessing certain presentations, and is widely used in GP Practices. This allows the clinician to advise treatment and/or prescribe medications quickly therefore avoiding patients having to wait for an appointment, or having to attend if they are not well or if our appointment availability is not convenient for the patient. If a patient would rather not submit photographs when they are requested, we are of course happy to progress to booking the next suitable appointment which is appropriate to their health concern. Although a very busy practice it's usually able to help arrange an appointment via phone. Receptionists very helpful I arranged for a telephone appointment to discuss my medication and completed this last Friday 14th February

I had an appointment for 5pm but I did not get in to see her till 18.20. When I finally got to see her she took the rest of my clips out the last one was very awkward it took her 10 mins to come out. Sister did apologise for the wait.

Doctor gave me the results of recent tests and explained what I need to do going forward. Very thorough and professional. The next questions on this survey are not applicable. 1.My appointment request was made online. 2 I was told when my appointment would be. So I had no choice not that it matters to me but thought you should be aware your survey should be worded differently. Many thanks. David.
