I have been trying to get a diagnosis for ADHD and autism for years, i’ve just recently turned 18 so i was taken off the children services and told to re apply when i turned 18. I booked another appointment with my gp and went with my mum to get referred to a right to choose service specifically clinical partners. However we got there and had an appointment with a brand new doctor who i’d never seen before and they didn’t know anything about my history with this problem or what i had previously filled out which was on the system that they got up in front of us. We had to repeat information that we have repeated countless times and that was already on the system. The doctor didn’t know what right to choose was and when I told them which provider I wanted to use they didn’t know what I was on about. Then when the appointment was over I was trying to ask when we’d hear if they’ve put my referral in and where to they said to ring back in 4 weeks and see if they had even put the referral in.

I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment the receptionist took my name and asked me to take a seat, 40 minutes later I was still waiting. When I checked in it would have been nice to have been told the doctor was running late. 10/15 minutes is expected but in the end I was there 50 minutes before I was seen. It’s only a small practice maybe sending a txt to the patients when the doctor is running over 30 mins late could be an idea?

I attended recently for an ECG. Staff are very helpful and efficient. My appointment was on time and the nurse I saw was lovely and friendly

It was a straightforward follow-up appointment with very little to do. I was pleased to be treated with courtesy and friendliness. I had been’reviewed’ by my GP the previous week so perhaps one appointment might have been sufficient.

I was seen on two occasions by the same Doctor. I originally saw him with a swollen lymph gland in my neck. He took temp, blood pressure, etc and ordered blood tests and an X-ray, he was concerned and very thorough. I saw him again for my results which were all good. He said I’d had an infection that had cleared up and that I was fit and healthy. He told me to stop taking a couple of supplements as my levels were high. I came home after a second thorough consultation and felt relieved and put at ease. His manner made me feel at ease too.

My visit to harambee surgery was very helpful and informative, i was very grateful for the help and consideration that I received from my Doctor. Also the reception staff are always very nice.

A friendly practice who will try in the best way to accommodate and address your needs. I had a locom doctor who was really interested in my story and didn't rush me at all and listened to all my questions without making me feel I was taking too much of his time
