  1. Review titled My last appointment

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Lee Lawson - Posted on 12 January 2025

When a doctor cannot put on a surgical mask before looking at me?? I have my doubts, also referred me for a blood test which will take 4 weeks? He prescribed me antibiotics and they don't seem to have worked so far? Hope this helps?

  2. Review titled Excellent practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Mrs Sharon Aston - Posted on 11 January 2025

I was treated so kindly, listened to and my needs were addressed as far as they possibly could be. I was also given direction by the receptionist on how I could order my medication - again I was treated with care and concern

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My doctor gave me plenty of time and was extremely caring and professional. He put my mind at rest with worries I had and spent a lot of time searching for a better treatment to prescribe for me.

I visited the practice for a shingle jab, the nurse was excellent as are all the staff. The surgery was warm and welcoming and I was seen very quickly.

  9. Review titled Cheerful staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Janet Quiney - Posted on 21 December 2024

I received a quick response for an appointment by Receptionist. The nurse who gave me the treatment I needed was efficient and what I liked most was the lovely smile and cheery disposition. We had a bit of a laugh together which made me feel easier about my treatment. This I feel is important. Thank you.

  10. Review titled Mixed feelings

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Joan Harper - Posted on 12 December 2024

On the recent occasion when I needed to see a practitioner the process of getting to see a practitioner was puzzlingly over-complicated where the urgency of a situation almost got lost in the bureaucracy. I had fallen and hurt my back very badly whilst on holiday in Scotland’s highlands. I was advised to ring my GP requesting an urgent appointment on my return. I did so, and was told that I would need to ring when I got home, six days later. I went to the local hospital and was treated there. The pain, however, was still intense when I got home so I rang my surgery at the earliest opportunity, I was told that it would be five days before I could get an appointment. After protesting I was offered an appointment for the next day and was given the pain relief that I needed. I am sure the reception staff are following instructions but rules shouldn’t be hard and fast where sick and vulnerable people need sensitive and understanding treatment.
