My telephone appointment was on the 13th Sept 2024 at 10.20am. It is now 10.30 on the 15th and I'm still waiting for it. Is this classed as acceptable?

As always my visit was really helpful + everyone made me feel less worried. I can't praise all the staff on reception, pharmacy, nurse+ Doctor. We are so lucky with this practice.

Having just registered with this practice, my first experience with the team has been very good. The reception staff I’ve had contact with are helpful, courteous, knowlgeable. The GP I saw was super, very thorough with a nice manner, easy to talk to, and at no point did I feel hurried. The practice itself isn’t large and had a nice ‘family community’ feel to it. However, it is part of a larger group so I assume they will have access to good support from the organisation which is equally important to me.

I was seen approximately 15 minutes later than my appointment time - this was not a problem for me. I explained my problem to the doctor, an accidental injury, which I believed to be becoming infected. The doctor enquired what treatment I had self administered to my wound and confirmed I had acted correctly. The doctor also confirmed that the wound was becoming infected. I was prescribed a course of antibiotics and advised as to the continued treatment of my injury. This is only a couple of days ago but the treatment does appear to be effective.
