I want to thank the lovely receptionists for their kindness, they made me feel at ease. I also want to praise the young lady that I had my appointment with. She was so thorough and made feel at ease during my consultation and thank you to the doctor who also put me at ease

I was copied in on a letter dated 29th June to be put on medication… every time I call it takes 30-40 minutes to get through even when supposedly 2nd or 3rd in the queue? Everytime I’ve been told the prescription will be processed that day… but it isn’t, Easons have even chased it and got the same response. Now reception have told me to email prescriptions because they can’t help. 7 weeks on from the date of the hospital letter and still no pills… no wonder you can never get through on the phones if this is the level of service on offer.

The doctor who conducted my 6-week postnatal checkup was fantastic, took time to ensure I was doing okay with my well-being / mental health (not just a tick box), and same with both mine and my babies physical check. He then followed up with both an email and telephone call that day with answers to some questions I had - he was friendly, caring and put me at ease as well as being very generous with him time. I’ve had two babies previously and this was by far the best check I’ve had also compared to my friends experiences at other practices. Furthermore the nurse who administered my babies immunisations was equally as caring and helped with my pram and made sure I was comfortable with where I was feeding my baby. A big thank you to you both!!

So 2 months on from my last review and they still can't get my meds right despite me telling them numerous times. But now I can't even talk to anyone about it, I have to submit another prescription to the chemist, making their job harder with the extra delivery and wasting my time as I now have to wait in for another unnecessary delivery. And no, I don't want another Practice Manager ringing me, just get your records up to date !!!

I have recently had two excellent experiences with the surgery having had a medication review and blood test as a follow up. They were both booked quickly and efficiently and the staff at the surgery were so accommodating and friendly whilst I was there. I can only say what a pleasant experience this was.

To get an appointment to talk to a GP has become a challenge. There is an underlying need for patients to manage their own health issues until communication with an appropriate health care professional can be confirmed. All NHS services are undergoing immense challenges to accommodate the over whelming demand . This practice tries it's best under these nationwide issues.

Attended today and was promptly seen by a very pleasant and sociable doctor who listened to me and understood what I was telling him not just nodding and trying to give me a prescription. Must also say thank you to receptionist who was also very welcoming and helpful.

The only way to get appointments is through a phone call between 0830 & 0900 each morning. Last time it took me 7 months to see someone as the phones are always busy, no wonder there are huge phone queues with such a small booking timeframe. Meds are not checked or reviewed properly, emails from a specialist are ignored, test results are not communicated.

Like another review I have also had issues receiving medication I have been on for 7 and 11 year’s respectively for my mental health. They’ve took them off repeat and onto acute order and I respect their valid concerns. But the way they’ve gone about it is shocking, mixed messages all day. I now cannot even order my medication online through the app as normal. This has caused me so much stress and it’s only the first day - have made a formal complaint which I hope we can resolve amicably.

Hi Fern, I am sorry this new process is causing you some stress, we have received you formal complaint and will be in touch to resolve this quickly. We do have to have these processes in place to safeguard patients and as a duty of care, but going forward we will make sure all staff are clear so they know how to advise patients correctly. Suddenly it is impossible to order repeat prescription of your medication. Despite you are taking meds for years. They tell, you have to book a visit with GP first, and then they do not offer you any visit! Ring tomorrow morning, they said. "You are 18 in a queue" they said the next day morning. We don't have any appointments available, try again tomorrow they said. "you are 12 in a queue" they said again. They do not provide any medical service.

Dear Patient, When patients are on long term medication we have duty of care to review them. I can also appreciate appointments are difficult to obtain but we will never stop medication, we just have to highlight that a review is needed, you can also make appointments online through the app to save you being on hold. Or email the practice and the reception manager will get back to you. kind regards Operational Manager
