I had a problem requiring an urgent appointment and was treated with kindness and respect by the receptionist. I was given an urgent appointment and received a telephone call within 30 minutes and a subsequent face to face appointment 15 minutes later. I received a thorough assessment and after a telephone consultation to a specialist department at Peterborough City Hospital, was forwarded A & E for further tests and treatment. The service and care I received was timely, professional and all staff involved were very kind. Thanks to everyone at Hereward for providing excellent care with that extra human kindness, especially as the NHS is facing many challenges at the moment.

I went to the group practice for a “To whom it may concern” letter. Receptionists were great at chasing up the progress of this (even though it was my own fault for leaving it too late!). I managed to collect my letter in time, as another GP kindly signed it, rather than waiting for first GP to come in for their next shift. Very kind. Very dedicated. Very efficient. I’m grateful 😊

Over the past few months I have had cause to contact the surgery . I have always been treated in a prompt and efficient manner. I have had telephone consultations always on the same day as I telephoned. My most recent experience I had a ten minutes telephone call resulting in a same appointment day consultation with the Doctor. I then treated for my complaint. I have always been treated well by the Hereward Practice. I am sure other less well performing practices could learn form Hereward Practice.

I contacted the surgery late Monday morning, I was told a doctor would ring back after 2. I received my call at 1.30. The doctor discussed my symptoms with me and thought I should have antibiopics i would also need to have a blood test. I collected my form from the surgery around 3 and headed off to Stamford for my blood test.waiting time was about 20 mins, not bad at all. I collected my prescription from Tesco pharmacy later that afternoon. The following day, Tuesday I received a call from the doctor around 6.45 in the evening to confirm that my blood test showed I had an infection and did need the antibiotics. I find the receptionists and the doctors to be very kind and helpful.

I have always found the practice to be supportive, caring and kind. The GP’s and all who work there have always listened to my health issues and I have always been given the time to talk. My medication is revised when needs be and they are all brilliant. I am so pleased to have found such a lovely practice. Thank you.
