Review titled Flu Jab
Rated 4 stars out of 5

Very quick and efficient. Staff were pleasant. Only thing missing was signposting in the reception area, as everybody that arrived all asked the same question "is this the queue for the flu jab".

Review titled Excellent practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I’ve always found the receptionists helpful and no problem with an appointment, albeit a phone call. Along with recent Covid-19 booster for my age group I was offered the Flu jab at the same time. Just makes sense, well pleased

Review titled Well organized for booster jab
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 23 September 2022
Had a text regarding booking for the booster jab. Booked a time for the next day, bit of a wait after arranged time. But the flu jab was being offered at the same time as booster. Which was great, saved another trip. Thank you to the nurse and lady signing people in. Both did a great job. Thank you.

I went in twice, for the Covid booster & flu jab. It was well run, staff were very polite and the line moved quickly. It was a well run team, in my opinion

Review titled An ok practice
Rated 4 stars out of 5

Practice is ok, phone system needs updating as you keep getting cut off. Also need a better way to get a review rather than having to go through the rigmarole, of phoning first thing, and being told after getting cut off at least three times that they have no one free Needs a brand new system and your staff need to be a bit better when talking to an older patient

Had a message to invite me for a flu vaccine on the same day, no need to book just turn up. The surgery was very organised, no queues, went to reception booked in then through to get my vacation, very quick and efficient.

Review titled Could be improved.
Rated 3 stars out of 5

Great service today, Covid injection done and flu jab given at the same visit. I feel very sorry for the receptionists who are constantly slated. They can only work within the parameters they are given and have to follow whatever it is the GP’s say. If there only 2 receptionists then there are only so many telephone calls they can answer and people in front of them to deal with. What I am unhappy with ( and other practices can manage this) is that it is not possible to make an appointment in advance. I start work at 7.45 am and cannot be on the telephone or in the queue, and most of the time I do not need an appointment immediately and would be happy to wait! I would like some response from the practice as to why this cannot be reinstated. I realise that people ‘forget’ their appointments and waste NHS time, but surely the GP’s waste time ringing people who do not answer ( because they had no idea what time to expect a call)

Called in to walk-in flu jab clinic after receiving a notification text. No queuing, prompt processing by receptionist, straight through to nurse for my injection. Whole process took minutes, an excellent experience and service.
