Following many years of great service at this practise I was very impressed with both doctors and staff during the period of COVID especially my most recent appointment they were very caring, considerate and professional supporting me with various issues which thankfully have now been resolved.

I reviewed the surgery last year at a time when all patient reviews were very negative. The surgery has obviously undergone a transformation and my recent experiences have all been very positive; everything from answering the phone to the time taken to get an appointment.

My initial booking of the appointment was arranged quickly and easily. I received a very good service today attending my appointment the receptionist was polite and quickly booked me in while sitting waiting I observed her to be polite to everyone. The doctor was also polite and attended to my needs with a follow up appointment tomorrow. All in all a very good service.

Waited what seemed like a lifetime for the call to be answered but friendly and helpful once answered. Appointment was 45minutes late but very friendly and approachable doctor when finally seen

It’s no shock that since Covid getting a Doctors appointment has been extremely difficult. We even looked into changing practices but found that they all had similar problems and issues. You can only speak as you find and I’m sure there will be people who have had problems getting appointments etc, who may have a different perspective. However in recent months we have found the service has vastly improved. Having recently been in poor health I have managed to get both phone and personal face to face appointments relatively easily as has my wife who I’m pleased to say has relatively good health. The reception now seems to be running well with understanding and helpful staff who take time to listen and respond in a timely and professional manner. Blood tests and repeat prescriptions don’t seem to be an issue anymore and we have always managed to get appointments when required. I always get to see the same doctor who knows my history so the process of a face to face is an easier affair, friendly and efficient. The doctors are aware of the past issues faced by their patients and seem to be taking steps to address our collective concerns. All in all a vast improvement. I hope this continues to be the case Personally I’m very happy with the level of care we receive

I honestly have nothing but praise for the GP I regularly see at Hobs Moat Medical Centre. He is without doubt the most kind, considerate and through GP I have ever seen. He understands me and helps me with my needs. It is quite difficult to get an appointment with him due to availability but other than that all is great.

Called the practice after lunch for advice was told by the very helpful male receptionist that he would get the dr to phone me, an hour later the dr phoned discussed my issues and booked to see me the following morning 9am, I was seen promptly. Excellent, professional service from start to finish thank you

I couldn’t get through via phone so l left a message on my repeat prescription form via email and got a text at 9am saying GP would ring me. By 10.30am l had a call from a lovely GP who prescribed antibiotics after telling him my symptoms. Prescription was at chemist by 2.30pm. Brilliant service. Thank you x
