    I had the worst customer service from the rudest reception staff I have ever experienced. I asked for hearing aid batteries and was spoken to like I had asked her to donate a kidney. Not being a hearing aid wearer I have no idea of size etc instead of tracing the size I was posed with dismissal and no help . My father is 86 and is blind and deaf so has been getting hearing aid batteries for years from the doctors a simple check would have brought this information up … when I mentioned complaints to practice manager she amazingly found his details but didn’t have them. She was an absolute disgrace in a customer facing role and needs to undertake further training and her colleague sitting in the background eating a biscuit and chipping in was also a waste of space. I have worked in customer service for £40 years and this behaviour is unacceptable there was no empathy or understanding absolute disgrace to the surgery . Why are receptionists so rude ?

    I am trying to contact this surgery. But unable to do so. There is no email address on their website Nor is there any kind of online form to provide complaints, compliments or feedback. The primary route for contact is the consult form which is only available for restrictive hours.

    Cannot get test results over the phone. Cannot make appointments except by filling in very complicated online form. Now cannot even do repeat prescriptions online except by joining Patient Access (which you have to start by going to surgery and filling out paperwork). Feels like they are doing everything to stop you speaking to a doctor.

    I have been with holmwood corner practice for 28 years , always I feel is the best , last week unfortunately I had very bad experience with one of the doctors , when our 7 years child been having very bad ear ache , even taking , nurofen & Calpol , still wasn’t helping , she examined her and said ( there’s no infection ) after 3 days we had to call 111 because she was screaming from pain all night , we were told the symptoms meant infection & appointment on Saturday at Kingston hospital , we were shocked when Doctor confirmed that the ear drum has popped because of infection pressure and fluid was coming from the ear , she was given antibiotics to help.with all my respect to all health professionals but I prefer the doctors we know them for long time .thank you

    I can’t thank this surgery enough for saving my mums life . Always checking up on her and getting back to me quickly with test results and appointments. Highly recommended!

    Convenient time for appointment, clean tidy warm waiting room, seen on time , warm greeting excellent and professional diagnosis and treatment, no complaints.

    After it took them nearly 1 month to register us (me and baby) as my husband is not registered even untill this day(2 months) we call to arrange our baby first immunisation. They booked our baby first immunisation firstly on 4th December, then they canceled and rebooked on 13th December, then canceled again and finally booked as in for 4th December. Today we went there to find out that the vaccine can not be administered as it’s to early (we asked the receptionist each time if it’s not to early and they ensured us it is fine. They said that they even double checked with the Gp.) We enformed them that we are planning to leave uk Wednesday 6th December and that we are going to buy tickets and they ensured us one more that everything is all tight. Today we went there and it is not all right, they don’t have what to do, they do not have any other available dates in the following weeks and of course they will call us but nobody knows when to let us now what to do. Basically we lost the money, we went there with the baby on raining day and they do not know what to do. It is unacceptable that they make an appointment so early for a vaccine. How are the receptionists being trained? What are they there for? And why are they lying to us, telling that they double check with GP when is clear they didn’t (Or the GP might be incompetent as well). Please run from this Surgery, they are non professional and do not care about you.

    I attended the surgery to make enquiries about a hearing test and get blood results. I was advised that no appointments can be made In the surgery, which is utterly ridiculous, given the fact that not everyone has Internet access or smart phones. Attempted to make an online appointment only to find out this is only possible during surgery hours, and advised to try again tomorrow. What is the point in this method? The receptionist told me that I had to contact the hospital for blood results, when i did i was then told by the hospital that G.P. needs to call them for results and then inform me This is a total waste of time, confusing, exceptionally frustrating, as well as worrying for some patients Surely there should be, an easier way to both, Get an appointment, and get blood / test results. Please listen to your patients, and work out a better system .

    Dear Patient, I am sorry you have had a challenging experience trying to get an appointment. I would be very grateful if you could contact me at the practice. I want to understand what went wrong and how I can prevent this from happening next time. With regard to the blood tests, the requesting clinician must ensure that the results are communicated to the patient. If a consultant requested your test, but our GPs printed the blood test form, the results would come directly to the practice and therefore our GP would communicate this to you. On the other hand, if the consultant requested the blood test and the forms were generated by the consultant, these tests would go back to the consultants, and the onus would be on the consultant to ensure these results are given to the patients. I would be interested in knowing more about the situation surrounding the blood test and getting the opportunity to raise it directly with the hospital.     I have attempted to contact the reception staff 3 times to arrange an appointment with no avail. Even after trying to use the Surgery portal the request gets closed. Its clear the reception staff have very little knowledge of the process and come across as very incompetent. They clearly have zero medical knowledge or understanding of the severity of a request unless you make a big fuss. to get something done. The surgery needs to re-train its staff to ensure they are providing a reasonable service to patients
