This practice has been excellent for my husband and I. We appreciate how times are hard in the NHS. However this practice always makes time and does their very best to help. Thanks a million.

Always very friendly and extremely professional. I have never had a problem booking a face to face appointment or a telephone appointment. They have always professionally dealt with an medical problem I have had.

When trying to book an appointment I didn’t like being asked by a member of the secretarial team what I wanted to talk to the doctor about . To me that’s personal but otherwise the practise is good.

On every visit to Hoylake and Meols medical centre all staff are friendly, efficient and professional. It's a brilliant medical centre.

Painful UTI was swiftly dealt with and medication prescribed. Able to get an emergency appointment which was very much appreciated. Dr was very thorough and helpful

We transferred last month to this practice and from our experiences so far I cannot praise them highly enough. The reception team are friendly and helpful. The waiting room has a comfortable, clean and tidy feel to it with background music and chairs round the room not placed coldly in rows. Each time I called the phones have been answered within a few minutes which is very reasonable compared to the 40-50 mins regularly at my previous surgery. Emails were replied to very swiftly and so far any requests have been handled efficiently. The nurse we saw for our new patient assessment was wonderful with my husband who has Alzheimer's and kind to me For a non urgent matter I saw a Dr within a reasonable time face to face at an evening appointment. He was helpful and sympathetic and I didn't feel rushed. The prescription was at the chemist next day. I think people often expect too much from GP surgeries who cannot possibly offer the same personal service as they did 50 years ago dealing with such high numbers of patients.. Yet somehow I felt like I had stepped back in time. All the staff seemed so helpful and understanding that I walked out each time feeling that they really cared. I felt like a person not a statistic. Thank you Hoylake and Meols for restoring my faith in the NHS.
