    I’ve been meaning to write this review since the last time I saw Dr D which was in February at my postnatal check! She really is a fantastic doctor who listens and swiftly deals with any problems you have. Nothing seems like too much trouble, especially when it comes to sorting out/ organising my repeat prescription! A couple of times when I have put in an online form describing a medical problem, she has picked it up and quickly asked me to come in and assess. Really positive experiences all round. Thank you!

    Hulme hall medical group are fantastic nice friendly doctors, ultra quick reply to on line form and quick appointments. I can’t regard them highly enough if I’m being honest and doctors and receptionist have a sense of humour ie: Human. Results are followed up in record quick time as well. My urine test came back ultra fast with some blood in it a day after I dropped it off, amazing. I just wish more people had a Hulme Hall Medical group that they could go to.     Prescription sent to Wells Pharmacy Friday afternoon. Not ready for collection til Tuesday afternoon!!! I could have died by then!!! Why does the practice and the doctors not know prescription are sent to their "hub" first hence the delay??!!

As we are aware, the practice sends prescriptions directly to the pharmacy, so we understand your frustration with the delay in collection. While prescriptions are sent electronically, there can occasionally be processing delays at the pharmacy, which may have contributed to the issue in this case.     Suffering from a severe shortage of breath, phoned the practice at about 4.00. Described symptoms and was given an appointment at 4.30 at Handforth. Had spoken to the GP, been examined and despatched (ambulance offered but used own car) to Stepping Hill. Was in a bed by about 5.30 and am having a pacemaker fitted on Tuesday morning. Absolutely incredible service by every person I spoke to from practice receptionist to Consultant. Thankyou to you all.

    I am currently taking a weight loss medication to help lose weight to control my blood pressure which was slightly high. i have been taking this for 8 months and have lost approx 3 stone. This month I did not lose as i was on holiday for 2 weeks. In this 8 months I have had no communication from the GPs to check on progress (apart from sending in my weight to justify continuing on the medication), nothing to ask how I have been, nothing to see what impact it has had on my BP. However the one month I have not lost I received a text message to say that the medication had been prescribed this time but would not be if i did not lose weight next month. While I appreciate that that is the purpose of the medication I feel that after 8 months it is not unreasonable to have a holiday and be able to relax and eat and drink a little more than my usual diet. To receive this text message without anyone bothering to speak to me was both upsetting and demoralising, especially as the wording felt like an ultimatum and judgemental which i feel was unnecessary and demeaning. To conclude the message with 'Best wishes' felt hypocritical and leaves me unsure whether i wish to carry on with the medication. This does not feel like person centred care and the lack of communication and support has left me demoralised and losing confidence in the service I am receiving from this practice. I have taken this seriously and have worked hard to lose the weight which I needed to for my own benefit but it is too easy to underestimate how hard this can be at times and to receive this message caused my significant distress.

    I'd stupidly nearly run out of a medicine that I take regularly and am going away on holiday. I put the repeat prescription request through on the NHS app at 7am today and the pharmacy has just texted to say that it's ready for collection. A great automated service that hopefully leaves the surgery more free for other pressing things and those without Internet capacity/ ability. Thanks 😊

    Appointments are given out very quickly either by phone or in person across the both surgery's. This makes all the difference as can be treated when problem is happening and not after the event. This is excellent. Also have received very thorough treatment for both myself and three children all seen recently. Thank you.

    The Telephone options when dialling 0161 983 5844, are not simple, each option either pushes to the website or provides a message that is not clear or simple to understand. God only knows how that works for our elderly. The system must be easy to use, clear to understand and provide defined actions to help the patients get to where they need to be and not create a dissmisive solution that patients will give up.
