I was seen by the doctor in a patient and thorough manner; this enabled me to listen and feedback...Putting my issue on an e-consult as a first step was a helpful way to explain it to the doctor.

Phoned for an emergency appointment for my infected C-section scar. The receptionist on the phone was understanding and told me to wait for a phone call from the doctor for a consultation. The doctor phoned within an hour and booked me in for that afternoon with a nurse who could dress the scar. Arrived to the surgery and there was a bit of a wait. The nurse called me in and asked if it was okay for a student nurse to be in the same room where she was going to give me treatment. The nurse was great. She gave me privacy to undress, looked at my scar and even called in the doctor to get a second opinion. The doctor came and checked my scar and prescribed me antibiotics. The nurse then dressed my scar and told me to be brave by looking at my scar and dressing it. She made me stand in front of the mirror and made me look at the scar and dress it. I hadn’t done that since giving birth as it was something I didn’t have the guts to do. She pushed me to do and I appreciate all the support. She advised me what to do and told me to come back if anything went wrong with the scar again. Very compassionate, caring and supportive.

Very nice staff. Culturally serves. I don't speak English well, but the staff at the reception, doctors, nurses are amazing and cultured. He tries to listen, understand and help. Always responds to the problem. He calls, he cares about my health. If necessary, order a translation. I am very grateful.

I was promptly attended to in an efficient an courteous manner by staff of the surgery. All my concerns were adequately addressed and many other suggestions offered during my recent visit. I was made to feel at ease and all my questions answered in great detail.

Had a test with a nurse today. Which went through for me unexpectedly well. My previous experiences were not good for the same test. My gp also told me that the nurse is good at what she does. And it happened the same. With all those negative reviews I am glad that I could leave here a good one. All the best.

I’ve had 2 appointments with the nurse so far, one with myself and one for my girls. Both time she was great, explained throughly and felt at ease with her being the nurse. Normally in the past, the nurses haven’t been great, and some have been rude. This nurse is friendly and I’m glad she’s a nurse at Ilford Medical centre , because without hesitation I can now attend appointments, without having to worry about being uncomfortable or having a rude nurse see to us.
