    Took my son to see GP on Monday was told he a viral and can't give anything he hand improved by Thursday... booked another appointment for today at 10.30 when we arrived was told to use the tablet screen to book in which I did .Half an hour after the appointment time had lapsed I went the reception desk to enquire what the delay was .only to be told there was no appointment booked for my son after showing them the text confirmation the receptionist disappeared out the back to speak to someone...when she came back she said the doctor had phoned in sick and we should have had an email to say the appointment was cancelled which obviously I hadn't ....we ended up being sent a surgery in Saltley for an appointment at 1.30 I had to take the afternoon off work to take him....the doctor there thinks he has scarlet fever now..... very poor service I wish it was the first time but it isnt

    Contacted reception to request more medication (controlled drugs) to be told to order online (unable to - says contact surgery, was then told by rude so called Manager it’s either online or I’d have to go to the surgery (unable to do that due to illness) managed to speak to a helpful lady on prescription line advising i would get a call back and yet again nothing 15/2 - was then told I’d have to contact 111 for emergency prescription as no one at surgery 17:46 to sign off. I then Call 111 and (badger) calls back to advise they can’t as not on repeat. This is not the first time the surgery has failed/negligent on my care. Have complained in past and no reply to emails….Will be taking it further

    I rang the surgery and I also received an email of my blood result. Excellent dealt with treatment was done well by the medical student who did a good job of taking my blood they made me feel relaxed and happy.

    I visited the practice recently regarding hrt, the doctor was very interested in my concerns and querys and spent time discussing the different options with me. I was delighted with my visit.

  5. Review titled Shocking communication/ customer service

    Got referred, which subsequently got cancelled. No-one bothered to inform me. In pain for 2 weeks. Called up to be told it had been cancelled and no one bothered to inform me. Practise manager has no customer service skills. Tries to use big words but totally out of context. Then proceeds to cut me off. Absolutely diabolical.

    Spent a whole week calling on a daily basis requesting a call back and received nothing. When I did finally manage to speak to a manager that was a total waste of time. Feel sorry for anyone who is a patient at this surgery.

    I saw the practice nurse today for blood tests and can say it was a lovely experience. The nurse had a calming, caring nature, which made me feel very comfortable. The Practice are lucky to have her. Thank you
