    I recently joined this surgery and I'm not a regular visitor to GP's. Both times in the last 6 months that I have needed advice/treatment the surgery has been fantastic. Efficient with it's triage. Seen appropriately or on the telephone where a face to face is not needed. The GP's have been helpful, kind, great communicators and sensible. I have been referred on, where needed, promptly and then called with results. I have been given time to ask questions and treated with dignity. I have been so impressed. I hope not to speak with them again soon but only as I prefer to stay well! 5 star rating!

    I have tried to order repeat prescription last week and this but it needed a doctor to reissue it. The online service started at 8am today and at 9:20 it closed as they had reached their quota for the day ! I have tried to order via the NHS app but that as yet doesn’t show meds and the phones are engaged all the time or you get through only to be cut off 1/2 hour later …..what can you say apart from it’s broken my guess is too many patients

    I have been unwell for some time and still trying to get to the bottom of what is wrong with me, I have been asking for a Doctors appointment for weeks as my symptoms are getting worse and new symptoms are emerging I am genuinely scared, I need a follow up to discuss recent tests and findings with a Clinician I am familiar with so I don’t have to go through everything again as there is not enough time, I called and asked for an appointment several times and wasn’t given one I tried to submit and online form and they were turned off, I have been at the Surgery for sixteen years and it is getting worse and seriously concerning.

    My wife had a problem this week [Mon], and there were further problems today [wed]. I can truthfully say that the front office were [superb] on both occasions. Follow up by the doctor on Monday [5*] and today the Doctor made my wife so relaxed again [5*]. Issues are still ongoing but over these 3 days the practice has been superb. Well done ! PS - Trustpilot 5*

    had emergency appt (phoned at 8am) they sent me to a pharmacy at 11am. he then sent me straight to the gp… i was then told i would have to wait nearly 3 hours!… only by seeing an actual doctor walking past did i only wait 30 mins… they are rude, no empathy, condescending and patronising… the gp apologised and recommended that i make a formal complaint

    Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, unfortunately the reception team are not in control of appointments. You arrived into the surgery at lunch time, after morning clinic had finished, afternoon clinic does not start until 15.30, you were seen by a Physician Associate, in their lunch break, they apologised for the Pharmacy First referral not being suitable.

    I was requesting my pain medication for the week ahead this week due to the death of my uncle of whom I’m next of kin , after 11 of being with the surgery I have never been told to sue this before . I’m now told I have to have an appointment with a dr before I’m able to do this which with the lack of appointments the surgery are able to offer I feel it’s a waste of an appointment that someone else could have, lots of recent changes to the whole practice I don’t think have been made for the better unfortunately due to being disabled and not being always able to get down to the surgery I’m now unable to speak to the pharmacy or even the receptionist which I think is awful and never heard of

    I rang the surgery approximately 1.00pm and told the very helpful receptionist that I would like an appointment. She enquired what my problem was concerning and I was told the dr would ring me back . Shortly afterwards the receptionist rang to say the dr would see me at 2.30. On arriving I was seen virtually straight away. The service I received was in a friendly, sympathetic and professional manner. No complaints at all. Great service.

    Because of my job I find it difficult to wait on the phone using the queuing system so I have started to use the online link to contact the surgery. My email was acknowledged with a text message then followed by a call from a doctor at my preferred time. The doctor listened to my concerns and arranged for blood tests and I used the same online system to ask for a follow up appointment which I have now had and results and options discussed including using outside agencies deemed helpful. I have always found the doctors and the staff helpful and caring. They have a difficult job especially with Great Dunmow expanding as it is and I would like to thank them for all they have done for me and my family.

    I have been with this practice for over 20 years and have been very satisfied there services, but sad to say it has gone downhill! having no end of problems with repeat prescriptions, long waits on the call back service over 2hrs. being sent a reminder to go and have a repeat chest x-ray after travelling to the hospital pay parking fee get to the x-ray department and being told that the doctor has not sent the request. Not happy.
