    This surgery has gone from terrible to awful in the last few years. Impossible to see anyone in person. Ive been spewing green phlegm since before Christmas and was given antibiotics without being seen by anyone, month later and Im still not better and cannot be seen by anyone. Wait one hour in the phone and tell them you will do your best to turn up on time, ten mins late and you are not seen. They refuse to put in your official compaint too. Appaling

    I was having issue with contacting a particular department at the hospital as all phone numbers were going unanswered. I thought it was worth me popping into the GP surgery to see if they could be of any help, and I’m glad I did, the receptionist was so helpful. He went above and beyond in trying to get me the right contact details for the correct department. He even followed up with a phonecall once he had found another number. We need more GP receptionists like him, nothing was too much of an issue.

    I'm currently away for a few days on the south coast, and stupidly forgot my blood pressure and statin medication. One phone call and the really helpful lad on reception had contacted Dr Macmillan, and arranged for an emergency prescription to be issued and sent to the closest pharmacy to where I'm staying. Amazing Service as always from an outstanding practice. Thank you.

    I thought that usually when you call to have a ‘Same day appointment’ basis question about your identification will be ask like DOB or names, even if it is for a following up appointment with a practitioner…but nope! Nothing…seems that the lady was already annoyed even that she probably just start working after only 20mn when the phone line opens. Especially it seems that my concerns were annoying her that after finally having some sort of agreement…she just hanged up the phone without me even confirming about our discussion. Need probably more patients service skills to be able to help in a better way. That was a first & pretty awkward phone conversation with someone who is supposed to be helpful. Bit disappointed here!

    I had an issue with my repeat prescription. It was sorted out wonderfully by a thoughtful determined Receptionist. He went beyond his duties and even called me the next day to see if it had been resolved to my satisfaction. He is a new addition to the Team who was extremely kind and competent. I hope he remains at the Surgery. It makes it worthwhile going in, if I encounter any further problems.

    I made a online registration for a new patient for me and my family, i made it on 12.09.23 since today 17.10.23 i haven't heard back from them. I have call them few times to double check but they were explaining it is takin time even though they couldn't find my name in the applicants. They even ask me am i sure that i applied on the right clinic, and yes I'm sure. Please don't reply to this comment with generic email telling me how much you are sorry etc, doesn't worth it.

    I have been with the practice for over 29 years and wanted to thank the current lead receptionist for her warm and friendly way of dealing with patients. Interactions with members of staff can vary a great deal, with some Of them coming across as cold and detached and so making the whole experience of booking an appointment a rather unpleasant one. Also, there needs to be an understanding that not every patient feels confident and comfortable discussing certain topics with a receptionist of the opposite sex, and also a lot younger. This should not be perceived as patients being a difficult.

    Even though I had some confusion with the stime the lady on the reception went out of the way to get me the appointment whereas earlier I have seen people saying come tomorrow or we will let you know incase there is any slot. cherry on top doctor was really kind and ready to see me . I'm highly satisfied half your pain goes away once some treats you with kindness .

    Have been with them for more than 8 years. Always helpful quickly response. With the new digital platform, I can send pic over and explains the case. saving the time to pop in for face to face appointments/ bring kids off the school. They responded so fast than I expected. Always provide great standard services and treatment. Thank you so much for all your hard work.

    I’ve unfortunately required services from the surgery a few times in the last two weeks and everyone has been amazing. From the person at reception to both doctors I spoke to, everyone has taken the time to listen to my request and needs, and made sure to offer the best solution for me.
