I phoned to make an appointment with a GP. I wanted 3 appointments, to deal with my 3 separate issues. I was told I only needed one appointment because the appointments would be following results (from blood test and X-rays). So only one appointment was made, but the actual consultation ran out of time. This was not satisfactory. The appointment was made for my local Brandon Road clinic. The next day I received a text (SMS) from the practice to make an appointment with a different, named, GP. So I phoned and told them they wanted me to make an appointment with that GP. As luck would have it, an appointment was available at the same time as the one from the day before, at the Chace clinic. No reason was given for the change of GP. Generally speaking the feeling one gets is that the GP you get is completely random based on availability. So I have no idea why they wanted me to change on this occasion. (An exception to the randomness was with a skin issue, followed through by the skin-specialist GP who dealt with it.) So as I said, having requested three appointments, the single appointment I was made to accept to deal with my three issues ran out of time. The GP said they would raise this with the practice management.

When trying to book for my 7 year old I had to wait two weeks for an appointment. Thought she had a chest infection.

My appointment was easy to book and with the practitioner of my choice, within the same week. He was able to diagnose the issue and he has referred me to a specialist for further evaluation and treatment.
