    1st time using online service, very impressed, had a text back asking for more information, replied to it, had a text with a phone call appointment this morning. After talking to the doctor, they thought it was best to have a face to face appointment. Less than 24 hours from filling the online form in, I had seen a doctor.

    Nursing staff spot on Doctors invisible !!! I find it so frustrating toget an appointment that I often give up when I should have persevered

    Dear G Bayliss, we are sorry to hear that you are struggling to obtain an appointment please don't give up if your in need of services. We are well aware of the queuing constraints, Maybe you could opt to try the New Online Triage system in future?

    Recently moved here (6months+). Not had difficulties getting appointments. Doctors and nurses have always been thorough and helpful. Would recommend.

    I am finding it difficult to get any sort of appointment considering the fact I have been seen for the conditions already, they just don’t seem like they care about the young and there needs to be more availability, I’m am getting rather impatient now.

    Call to Nhs direct was followed swiftly by Dr who arranged a scan, for the next day, on a very swollen ankle. Concern was poss blood clot. Seen exactly on time, at the hospital. A blood test also recommended, which I asked after, in the relevant dept and whilst I was in the hospital. They checked my notes, to confirm one had been requested, and saw me within few minutes. I received a follow up phone call within 2 days to explain results/ outcome and advise further treatment. Very impressed with how my case has been handled. Swiftly, sensitively and with thorough explanation. I could not have asked for any better service. With the dreadful press about GP and hospital appointment waiting times, I can only speak as I have experienced, and I have received excellent care in my local area, as, I so often do, on any occasion I am in need of their care and service. Thank you

    Had to visit practice up to 3 times a week for a month. Staff were extremely polite and efficient. Due to my line of work securing appointments was problematic but both front desk and care staff were very accommodating and understanding of my circumstances. It’s got to the stage where I almost look forward to going to appointments to receive the warm friendly and efficient welcome and service.

    An appointment with a practice nurse who was efficient, professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. I was treated with kindness and understanding and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for your time.

  8. Review titled Menopause - persevere with your doctor

    I have transformed from an old immobile devastated person to a lively and positive young person again. It has taken time, many blood tests and several visits but the practice have kept helping me and HRT has been the salvation. I have never been made to feel a nuisance or a fake and the surgery have been most thorough with their investigations. I urge others to persevere. Don't give up. Keep working with your doctor as it is so worth it when you finally find the solution and are back in control of your body again.
