I came in because of my tonsils as one is bigger than the other and has a yellow patch on it. I was told I had a tonsil stone however the discolouration is on the skin of the tonsil not a stone lodged in. I know this as I’ve previously had tonsil stones so I know the difference. Also I saw a nurse not a doctor which could be why they didn’t know anything.

The staff are really kind, but I was disappointed that no first aid was available as I had fallen over on my way to the surgery.

Thank you for your feedback. We cannot hold stocks of dressings etc. however we do have first aid kit for staff and though it is not typical, could have perhaps been made available to you. If you can email j8155.complaints@nhs.net with 'First Aid Kit' in subject header, we would appreciate some more information to be able to look into this further such as site, time of visit, names of staff etc. Thank you

Since going over from Cosham Health Centre I’ve found the standard of care, compassion & empathy to be of very high standard! Best decision I ever made was joining up to Portsdown group practice

I got through to a doctor quickly. Seen by a doctor quickly and sent for tests the same day. I have no complaints. Very pleased!

My appointment went well. However I suffer so bad with ear infections and know that drops don’t work on their own. A day later I was at the drop in and have been very poorly with both ear infection and tonsillitis ?

Have never seen a doctor in many months.HCSWirkers and nurse practitioners are great but it would be nice to see a doctor.

I called into drop in centre to see if I could have my MMR vaccine,at park house cosham surgery,receptionist was very pleasant and helpful,I was informed I could wait for duty doctor to carry out procedure,I only had to wait 5 minutes,very pleased with service

My appointment was a 'veteran check' I was particularly impressed that the nurse was knowledgeable on aspects of being a veteran and very helpful, unfortunately a family member, also a veteran had a very different outcome as he saw someone with no experience of service life.

This was a meds review done over the telephone. The clinician was very friendly and the review was conducted in a very professional and courteous manner with any questions I had being fully and clearly answered as we progressed.
