Thank you for offering the half hour health check service. It is the first one I have had since moving here in 2019 and it was both interesting and reassuring.

Arrived at 0845 on Sat found doors locked,didn't realise opens at 0900. Doors open directed to side room for both Flu and COVID Jabs with my wife.Staff very efficient and within a short period of time both of us had been vaccinated one in each arm and then we're on our way home. Staff were very professional and friendly it was lovely to see so Well done Lakeside on this occasion ..

I’m relatively new to the Stamford area and wanted to give some positive feedback. I have found the Dr’s, nurse practitioners and receptionists at Lakeside to be helpful and professional. There is no doubt that it’s a difficult time for the NHS but I see hard working staff in my experience going above and beyond to give me the best care . I’m extremely grateful.

I was awake with troubling Symonds during the early hours. At 3 am I was able to book an appointment for later that day. Dr I saw listened to me examined me and issued the relevant medication. What more could I ask for. In this instance their system worked very well.

I made appointments in person at Lakeside surgery Stamford in August 2023 for 3 vaccinations (pneumonia, shingles and flu). My first appointment for 2 jabs on the same date and time went smoothly, however the first flu vaccination appointment I could get was made for October 28th 2023 and the time I was given by the receptionist was 14:15 (I double checked this at the time and it was confirmed so I duly added it to my phone calendar. When I arrived for my appointment the doors to the surgery were locked, I knocked and rang the bell, there was a person inside the surgery in an office typing and they looked up at me but then ignored me despite me knocking and ringing again and again! This behaviour does not promote good client service and neither does it demonstrate improvement since Lakeside’s last inspection! I’m not impressed!!

When I eventually got through on the phone, the receptionist was very polite and very helpful in changing my appointment to a face to face. I haven’t been to the Drs for a while, but did not recognise any of them - I wonder if they were locums. My Dr was pleasant but was constantly typing up notes during my appointment. He didn’t even look up from his screen to say goodbye!

I recently moved into the area and wanted to check on tests undertaken at my previous practice. The doctor not only updated me on the result but reviewed my medication, took time to understand my health history and phoned me up later to suggest we undertake some precautionary test. I was immensely impressed by his thoroughness.

I was waiting for my appointment for 45 minutes, I sat in the waiting room and nobody acknowledged me or told me about delays. I saw the Doctor who spent ages typing everything down and I just sat there as if I was secondary. He prescribed a medication and I asked for him to print it, he said he couldn’t as nothing is printed. I said I was in pain and needed it but he said it would go to the pharmacy in 12 hours. I asked him to try to send elsewhere but he said he couldn’t sign it as he is a locum. I just couldn’t believe it but walked away with nothing. He asked me to call him in a week. This surgery is impossible to make an appointment let alone ring the same doctor back. He said he would make an appointment to call me but then said,”oh I can’t there are no appointments.” The next day at my pharmacy more than 20 hours later the pharmacy did not have my prescription for me. The whole experience is stressful, impersonal and unhelpful when you’re at your worse.
