Called today just wanted to change my password so I could order repeat prescription waited for 1hr and 30 mins in queue wast stuck at number 2 for 30 minutes so hung up. Will have to go to practice itself to get resolved. Should have separate number for account issues, useless trying to get through been trying for 4 days.

I was invited to attend a group consultation as a potential candidate for the NHS soup & shake program. The presentation was well delivered by a doctor that had followed a similar program. It provided a good understanding of the nature of Type 2 diabetes and the benefits of joining the soup & shake program. It also covered an overview of the support that we would receive to complete the program. A good question and answer session then followed and this gained good participation. We were also given the opportunity to taste samples of several of the recipes. I believe all attendees signed up to the program and I am keen to get started as soon as possible.

Staff work tirelessly under stressful conditions, always cheerful and courteous. I have the greatest admiration for them all. My recent visit was for a knee injection, before that an assessment for replacement hip surgery. I was treated with care and respect.

Called the surgery at 8.00, finally got answered at 8.45 to be told no telephone appointments, pre bookable appointments or econsults left. I was asked what the problem was and was then told to speak to my pharmacy, 111 or go to the 8 till 8. I was not even referred to the duty Doctor. As a lung cancer patient on a controlled drug causing swelling and other side effects, I need to be tapered off the drug to avoid seizures and other withdrawal symptoms, also need prescribed diuretics. My Pharmacy could not help so referred me back to the GP. Will now have to see how I get on with 111 or at the 8 till 8. This is not the first time this has happened trying to get an appointment. I really can't fathom out how a receptionist with no medical training can decide/triage who gets an appointment and who doesn't. Feeling very upset, anxious and GPless.

He took the time to explain the results in a way that was easy to understand, ensuring that I had a complete understanding of my health situation. This approach not only provided me with the necessary medical information but also gave me a sense of reassurance and clarity. Moreover, he prioritised my case, making sure that I was informed of my results without any unnecessary delay. This promptness in communication reflects his dedication to patient care and his understanding of the anxiety that waiting for results can cause. Overall, I highly recommend this doctor for his expertise, patient-centered approach, and excellent communication skills. He truly goes above and beyond in his practice.

Over the last 9 weeks I have been attending Lakeside practice 2 or 3 times a week for dressings after a major operation. All the nurses , care staff and receptionists have been brilliant.

Have seen a Doctor several times recently @ Lakeside. Had a quick response,positive help, & even some of the old fashioned bedside manner,which when you consider the pressure they are under was very much appreciated.
