I was seen by nurse very quickly and this has been the trend recently with hardly any waiting time. I was able to discuss my general health and received some good advice. However it was a bit of a missed opportunity as I forgot to mention a problem though surprised it wasn't seen on my notes. I was able to book a flu jab in person while I was there which was useful though nurse recommended end of October but I got a fortnight earlier. I was grateful I was prescribed some medication for problem I mentioned

The last few days, I have tried to get an appointment. Rang at 8am - on the dot. Each time my call is "terminated" I have also tried the online accurx form. Every day this week at 8am, the message reads : "We have temporarily paused access to online enquiries. please call the surgery to book appointment". Where does one go from here? I have a relatively simple - but debilitating, preventing me from going in to work - medical problem, and I believe super easy to fix. I have tried "over the counter" meds for over a week which have not worked and now need advice / script re antibiotics . Impossible situation.

I am sorry that you are having difficulty booking an appointment. We are experiencing huge demand for appointments at the moment and so all available appointments are booked within minutes of the on-line service opening. If you would like to contact us direct, we can investigate why your calls were not getting through. We do release a few more appointments each day at 1.00 PM also, so you can try calling again then. Otherwise you can attend one of the local walk-in centres or call 111. If you prefer to be seen at the surgery, I am afraid it is a matter of persevering. Most patients do find that they manage to get an appointment within a few days.

After having a sudden change in my health and things happening so quickly the doctor and nurse were extremely professional they never left a stone unturned. Speedy work in urgent referrals to be the seen as soon as possible no waiting time as this was urgent they did there best and referred me straight away. Continuous contact over the last 4-5 days I knew exactly what’s happening step by step.

With my most recent experience the staff at Langstone Way were very helpful and kind. They assisted me with getting my appointment sorted and kept checking in on me.

This is part of my annual review. All I had was BP, weight and toes pricked. I have to wait till September to have the rest done. It would be much better for me if it could be done on the same visit to the surgery.

Dear Sylvia, Thank you for taking the trouble to leave your review for us. Ideally we do aim to book the part of the diabetic review that you describe followed immediately by a review with our Advanced Nurse Practitioner, so that this is all done at the same visit. Unfortunately, given the time of year, we have staff members who would normally do these tasks on the same day, currently on annual leave. I am sorry about this. Hopefully, the next time you visit for a diabetic review, you will find that it can indeed all be done at one visit. We apologise for the inconvenience experienced on this occasion.
