Was able to make the appointment a couple of days in advance, at a time that suited me. Was seen on time. The nurse listened and dealt with the queries I had.

It was really good . The nurse explained about my condition, blood results and diet. Nurse checked my blood sugar and explained the importance of reduce carbohydrates containing food

At the request of the pharmacy, contacted the surgery to check when a prescription request made the previous week will be sent to the pharmacy. When it couldn't be found she started an argument and cut me off. I said I was anxious I'll run out of tablets, I had only 2 left. A while later I rang up to ascertain why she cut me off , A recorded message never heard before said they were not taking calls. So she has shown her power over an elderly patient. Is this conduct NHS approved. Is this included in her training when she joined the surgery.

Please contact the surgery and allow us to investigate this incident. We are unable to look into this as the comment has been left anonymously. We have no such message as the one you describe hearing when you rang the second time and I am not sure who you spoke to the first time, so would like to be able to investigate this. Thank you.

Every time I call someone is there to help, quick appointments and great doctors nurses and staff. The doxtor I saw was brilliant explained everything so well and gave me the right meds Thank you all for your great service and hard work

The staff of this GP is cert rude. It was almost impossible to make an appointment even with children. They always say they are full but to my surprise, every time I went there, there was at most one person waiting. I really wish someone would take a stand on this GP as everyone I speak to is very unhappy with Langstone Way Surgery

Thank you for your comments. As you will see from the other reviews here, not everyone is unhappy with their experience of using the surgery's services. We take a triage approach to requests received at this surgery, which means that we prioritise those with the most urgent problems. You will not see waiting rooms full of people at the surgery because we deal with a lot of issues without the patient needing to visit the surgery and give a set time for a patient to attend if we do need to see them in person. A relatively quiet waiting room does not mean that we are not busy therefore. All our appointments are filled every day and even if the surgery may appear to be quiet, this is simply due to our working procedures. I am sorry that you are unhappy with the service, but hope that this explanation goes some way towards explaining our working practices to help you understand that although we may not appear to be busy, this is very unlikely to be the case.

After an appt with the nurse re HRT I left feeling that she showed no interest and was of no help at all, apart from reinstating my prescription

I went for an appt with the assigned |Doctor on Tuesday19/02/25. I was given a thorough examination concerning the skin rash i have and on completion i was given a prescription for medication to combat my condition. I also got a referral to see a Dermatologist. finally i would just like to say how good the Dr was and made every effort to inform me of all the details relating to my condition in a very professional manner!

I had an appointment with a nurse this week. She was very friendly, professional and informative and carried out my procedure very quickly making me feel at ease.

I have been coming to this surgery for 20 yrs or so which in my humble 0pinion is a recommendation in itself with regards to telling anyone else about the practice. My recent experience however adds proof. I have been suffering with a skin rash that got so painfully itchy i went to the surgery after booking an appointment and saw a Doctor who was absolutely incredibly knowledgeable and i am happy to tell you i am well on the mend!
