New system difficult to navigate so went to surgery. V good to meet receptionist at last and have now met my nominated doctor in person who was helpful and comforting.

Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for sharing your feedback on our new appointment system. I’m sorry to hear that you found the system difficult to navigate. To assist you in the future, we have iPads available in all of our surgeries, which patients can use to book appointments. Additionally, an administrator will be on hand to guide you through the process, should you need assistance. We offer a choice of face-to-face or telephone appointments, based on patient preference, and I’m pleased to hear that you had a positive experience during your visit and were able to meet your GP in person. Made a request on Monday, was able to book a telephone appointment for the next morning at 8:30am. It is now Thursday and still haven’t had a call off anyone. Luckily my symptoms have reduced but still present. Doesn’t give much confidence at all. Really don’t like the new system. Whenever I ring up I’m 25 in the queue. It’s just so hard to get o speak to anyone these days!!

I recently relocated to Firbeck and registered with Lakeside Surgery when I made an online appointment I made it with Lakeside and a few days before the appointment they changed the location to Larwood which is an 18 min and 8.2 mile journey each way and I have to drive past Lakeside Surgery to get there when Lakeside is 3 miles and 8 min from my home and the reason we registered there so I cancelled the appointment as they wouldn’t accommodate me I find this poor patient service and I still haven’t been seen

Got new tablets from the Drs after a few days got stomach ache /nausea ,just wanted to alter my medication to a lower dose ,there is nothing in the new triage system for that!!! So after 2 visits to the practice I am hoping to get this sorted out ,I won’t hold my breath !!

We’d like to reassure you that there is also an option to ‘ask a question’ on the admin section of Smart Triage, this allows patients to submit queries, such as requests for medication adjustments, which our admin team processes and forwards to the most appropriate clinical team. This can often save you a visit to the practice and ensure your concern is addressed more efficiently. We apologise for the inconvenience you’ve experienced and are actively working to improve Smart Triage to make it more comprehensive for all patient needs. To complicated and far too long to actually get to see a doctor always same message when trying to get an appointment. The new system is probably ok if you use it frequently but gets a little confusing when maybe months apart between trying to get appointments

Quick and efficient service. New appointment system worked well, got an appointment quickly, was able to choose where/when and who with also. Admin staff very polite and helpful.

Requested by surgery to make appointment following latest blood pressure readings First four attempts failed because there were no appointments available those days Only given telephone appointment for 15th November when my husband went into the surgery on my behalf

The triage system is tricky to use especially when it comes to booking your appointment and it lacks the the location town/ village of the surgery I was turned away from The Village surgery on Tuesday and told to ring 111

Used the new online request although the criteria for my problem was not on the list ( infected wound post surgery) I was able to use a skin one and obtain an appointment within 2 hours of my request
