First time using the new system smart triage even though I’d booked a timed appointment they call 2 hours early ,appointment was ok and was told to make another appointment. The doctor I had spoken to wasn’t on the list for my next telephone appointment which is very frustrating. Unfortunately I’m old school and like many would much prefer to see someone face to face .

Having been to Larwood in recent weeks due to one or two medical issues, I can honestly say that I have never experienced a better Practice! The Doctor I saw Dr. Raavi was exceptional! A compassionate and dedicated professional who made me feel at ease with her warm and reassuring manner. Thank You Larwood and especially Dr. Raavi.

The practice has been good at keeping me informed of my results and possible treatments. The on line appointment system seems to work well . The receptionist’s are very helpful.

I've still not managed to have the appointment because it was cancelled on 31st October. My sons appointment has been rearranged using the online system, the first appointment was for the 29th November. Which I don't feel is very good to say I contacted the gp via online tool on 14th October. I rang reception to discuss this and ask for an earlier appointment and reception said there was nothing that they could do about this.

Using new appointment system was unable to find my symptoms receptionist was extremely helpful but I have to say I am not impressed with the system it’s too long and extremely frustrating took half an hour to get an appointment. Easier to get an appointment but it takes far to long and not enough symptoms to choose from

I thought tge online booking service was excellent it helped me book in when I could get back from work comfortably without worrying I was going to be late. The Dr saw me virtually straight away I was very happy with the service

The new booking system that replaced the previous 8am “Fastest Finger First” logic does not cover all symptoms or concerns. For example during a recent private company medical an issue was highlighted which would require a GP referral to a specialist (raised PSA). However when trying to make GP appointment using the new system the issue was not covered meaning I was offered a date several weeks in advance (I suspect as I was considered a non- urgent case) This needs to be reviewed.

We have recently transitioned to a new appointment system called SMART Rapid, which was designed to replace the previous “Fastest Finger First” approach at 8 a.m. The new system enables patients to input their symptoms, allowing us to triage and prioritise cases based on clinical urgency. While this system has helped improve access for many, we acknowledge that it may not cover all symptoms or concerns. We continue to monitor and improve the system I am sorry to hear about the challenges you encountered when trying to book an appointment for follow-up care related to your raised PSA levels. We understand how important timely access to care is, especially in cases requiring a referral. I will ensure your concerns are reviewed internally, and we will consider how we might enhance the system to better accommodate these scenarios. We are continuously monitoring and refining SMART Rapid to ensure it meets the needs of all our patients. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us identify areas for improvement. What a great practice - would highly recommend. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The new system is brilliant - managed to get an appointment to see a GP without having to ring and even did it out of surgery hours! Had an emergency with my daughter and Vn & SwK went above and beyond as normal - can't praise the surgery enough
