Managed to book an appointment at this practice much quicker than at my previous one. Waiting time while at the practice was also short, and it wasn’t particularly busy. The GP I saw was very helpful and friendly

The doctor I saw was brilliant, but the internet links she sent me to book my referral dont work. So I have to go through the whole referral thing again;(((

Don't often need to see a doctor but plesenlty supprised how quick I was seen and tests arranged especially with all the negatives the NHS get.

I explained to the doctor that I Had a letter from BUPA hospital telling me to go to my GP and ask them to refer me to an ear Nose and throat specialist. The doctor laughed at me and said that wasn’t going to happen. She then told me to go to the shop and buy a nasal spray for what I believe is a serious problem with my ear and jaw. She also rushed me and told me that I only had 10 minutes so if I wanted to talk about anything else, then I would have to make another appointment which I find extremely difficult, most of the time when I phone my GP at 8 o’clock in the morning it takes me over an hour to get through and by that time I start work at 9 to have to cut off the call it can take me weeks in order to get through and make an appointment. The surgery are overrun too busy and the doctors that I saw I don’t feel cared one bit about my problems.

Dear Hollie I am sorry to hear you were unhappy with your recent visit to our surgery. I can assure you our GPs do care about all our patients and do their best to recommend the most appropriate treatment for all problems. Like all GP surgeries, we are a busy practice, and there are sometimes long queues on the phones, however our friendly reception team are on hand to take routine GP enquiries by phone from 8am to 4pm every weekday, and the phone lines remain open for urgent enquiries until 6.30 pm. Our average phone waiting time this month is just under 8 minutes, although at peak busy times, this queue may be longer. I came in today for help with an urology issue and the Doctor was able to assist in directing me to secondary care services, for which I was grateful. I must say that I’m glad that I registered at this Practice; a close family friend, unfortunately now passed, recommended Lawrence Hill Health Center to me and I’m pleased to have taken her advice. It’s an old-school community practice which is clearly still providing invaluable services during difficult times. I hope Lawrence Hill continues to remain steadfast and open to the public. I noticed yesterday that there is a community garden, looking forward to exploring during a future visit. Stay Healthy Everyone.

This is a very busy surgery, and getting an appointment is a very long and arduous affair. In short it took three phone calls, and three days of clicking links to get an appointment nearly four weeks later. I do feel very sorry for the reception staff, as they have a very difficult job at this surgery. In the end I saw a Dr who I have to say is a real asset to this practice. She was very thorough, caring, and the appointment never felt rushed.

Very efficient and thoughtful experience. Took the time to listen, explained and examine. Felt that the GP was present and committed to providing a good quality service.

Just having bloods taken for a diabetic review. Appointment was on time, and I had a warm friendly welcome from the practitioner. Information was given clearly and all in all this was an excellent experience

Quiet, calm, comfortable place, easy to park. Nice receptionist. Toys and books for kids (mine attended this same surgery throughout their childhoods). GP was great - even went to compare notes with a colleague. I felt really looked after. Having a pharmacy right next door is great. I have spent a lot of time abroad and been hospitalised and/or had to visit doctors surgeries in half a dozen countries worldwide. My home surgery and the NHS are the best by a long way. (Only Cuba comes close).
